Go to your dashboard, then to “appearance”. Under “appearance” is “widgets” and you can pick a “text” widget and paste the code into there. 😀 Hope let me know if you have any questions! I know when I was testing them on our blog, it kept deleting part of the code 😛 I’m guessing it’s one of the glitches they still need to work out with HSB 🙂
Oops! Sorry! Did I say “Tex”? I meant “Text” 😛 I’m pretty sure it won’t work on HSB…for some reason WordPress doesn’t like the codes, so I’m going to have to ask Jocelyn what I’m doing wrong! 😀
Thanks ever so much! Once you have the blog button up on your blog and others want it to be put on to their blog, how do you give them the code below like you do?
There so cute! 🙂 I was wondering if you had blog buttons! I had seen your button on so many different blogs, but I had never found the code on your blog. Well, now I did and am off to add them to my blog roll!
Hope you are all having a lovely day!
A sister in Christ,
Grace
Hello, dear Sisters! I’ve enjoyed your blog for quite a while now, mostly I “lurk” but try to comment now and then! Your button has been on my blog for quite some time, too, but I’m having a lot of problems with your site now…most of the pictures are broken links, and your blog button is as well. Not a single one of your buttons on this page shows the photo…they’re all broken links. Are you using firefox, by chance? Did you change your hsb template in the last month or two? I don’t see the photos in any of your posts any longer, either. btw, I use Internet Explorer. I wonder if all your IE readers are experiencing the same thing? I only have this with a couple of blogs that are desigened to be viewed with firefox. Just checking to see what the issue might be…I enjoy your blog!
That is really strange! No, we have Internet Explorer, too, and haven’t changed the template that recently…I think the last time we changed it was in June? I just went to your blog and found our button and it looks and works fine 😮 So I’m not sure what the problem would be 🙁 Has it happened really recently?
Thanks so much for your comments! And thank you for letting us know about the problem! I hope we can figure out what is going on. We have another lady who said she can’t see our pictures, either. So glad you enjoy our blog 😀
oh, okay!! I’ve been looking for an easy pattern to make for myself. do you think I could make it? I’m not a very experianced sewer. I HAVE made one blouse and 3 jumpers, 2 of which I was 9-10 years of age. If you think I could do it, please tell me 🙂
Hi! I am 15 and am have been homeschooled all my life. I also wear a headcovering (when we go in public) and always wear a skirt or long dress. I was soo excited to find your blog! I don’t know that many girls who believe just like I do! I was wondering, do you all keep Sabbath on Saturday?
Nice to ‘meet’ you too! No, I don’t have blog, as I said on the giveaway contest. Yes, we keep Sabbath on Saturday. BTW, I love alot of the books on your book list page, and so does my friend! Do you girls subscribe to any magazines? I subscribe to Virtuous Daughters. You won’t find it on the web, but the young lady who publishes it has written 2 books “Noble Girlhood” and “All Glorious Within.” I love them!
Hi
I am home schooled. and we keep the Sabbath on Saturday. I know a lot people that home school in MO. we live in Stockton MO. where in Illinois do you live as in what county or town?
Hi,
I’m 13 and my pen-pal Hannah(she has already comented here)told me about this. I met Hannah through the magazine she mentioned, Virtuous Daughters. I think this blog is really neat! How long ago did you guys start this? I have 3 sisters but never imagined having 6(plus 2 brothers) EEEEEEEEEEEE! How do you all get along?
Later Gator.
I’m glad Hannah said something because I didn’t get a chance to reply to you before our trip and then forgot :-0 🙂 So glad you like the blog 😀 We started it about 2 and a half years ago.
How do we all get along? Well, we don’t always get along perfectly, but we keep trying to work on being best friends with each other and the work is paying off 😀 Not always easy, but definitely worth it! I’m so happy to have my best friends in the same house with me 😀 I don’t know if that answered your question?! 🙂 Sisters are so much fun! How fun that you have 3 😀
Hello, Seven Sisters! I’ve finally worked up the courage (not that I needed to
be afraid) to comment on your blog. I’m Hannah’s friend who called herself
the “Baking Bachelorette” on her blog. I just joined HSB and requested your
friendship. I think that you dress so prettily and I think that it’s so wonderful
how you share your blog with all of your sisters. You know, most older sisters
are not that kind! I’ve been following your blog over three months now and
I think that it’s great!
~Jennifer (A.K.A, the Baking
Bachelorette)
Hi Jennifer! I’m so glad you were able to ‘work up’ the courage to comment 😀 I know we’ve said this before, but we *really* like getting comments and hearing from our readers 😀
I tend too be shy when it comes to saying anything on the internet, but Hannah’s helping me to come out of my shell. (Thank’s Hannah!) Is it alright to comment on old posts too?
Oh yes! You can comment on any post you like 😀 I understand how you feel…there are some blogs that I enjoy reading, but just have never commented! Naughty me!
Don’t worry…she’s a farm-dog and used to the snow 🙂 And she has a warm spot she can go to in the barn if it’s too windy. We love her, too…she’s a sweetie 🙂
Hi Seven Sisters!
My family and I are doing the 30 Hour Famine for World Vision. We are going to fast for 30 hours and collect donations for the horn of Africa; where they are having a severe drought and famine. Our family goal is to raise $10,000 to send there, and each of us girls has our own goal inside that. I’m setting this up here because I don’t think that as many as 11,000 children should die from hunger every day. $30 can feed a child for a month. $90 can feed a child for 3 months. $180 half a year. $360 will care for a child for a hole year. Any donations are greatly appreciated. You can send them as a check made out to World Vision to us or can go online with this link I’ve provided and donate there. Tell everyone. Just getting twelve people to donate 30 bucks will feed someone for a whole year.
My youngest sister Alana started to cry and laugh when our uncle donated almost all that was hoped for for her goal.

So glad you enjoyed that video 😀 How fun that you guys do T-Tapp and the GAPS/gluten free diet 😀 We went off GAPS about a year ago, but some of us are still on a gluten free diet 🙂 For school we use ‘real life’, lol! We don’t have any one certain curriculum we use. We really like Dr. Jay Wile’s science books, and Diana Waring’s cds on history. We just use a little of this and that 😀
Thanks so much for commenting!! 😀

Drag one of your text widgets to the “sidebar” and it should automatically open. Paste the code into the big box and then click save 🙂

Yes, we did make our dresses 😀 We have kind of made up a pattern, but if you’d like, we can send you a copy of one of the jumper tops 🙂
is your pattern easy to make?
Yes 😀 There aren’t any buttons or zippers, so that makes it pretty easy 😀
Jessica
