I LOVE peaches – could I have one, too, please? π
We used to have peach trees in our backyard (right here in Arizona!) but they got blown down during our monsoon storms π . Now we have citrus tree – not quite as yummy nor as versatile as peaches.
Cute picture! The peaches look yummy! My family and I love peaches! We grow a doughnut peach tree, but the fruit is all gone for the season.
Hope you are having a blessed day!
A Sister in Christ,
Grace
Donut peaches? Does that mean they have holes down the middle?! That would be so neat! We *love* having our own peach tree…you can just walk out there and pick a peach…no other peach tastes as good as right off of the tree!!!
You really need to come up to Wa for some genuine Wenatchee apples and peaches! π And, my personal favorite, the Aplets&Cotlets factory with free samples! π That’s in Cashmere. And then there’s the Swiss town Leavenworth…………. π
Well, I think the main difference in peaches would be that they were WA peaches. π The apples, well! π Mmmmm! You know that Washington is the #1 Apple state, don’t you? DON’T YOU?????? lol! π Our extended family owns several orchards, and our favorite breed of Apple is the Cameo. If you haven’t had a Fresh WA cameo, you haven’t had an apple! ( If you see wa camoes in the store, btw, they might be related to me. π ) lol! They had a gigantic crop of cherries last year and were just letting the small ones rot on the trees, and they let us pick as many as we wanted! we got 400 pounds! It was wonderful! π
So, yes, you should come up. soon. π
Are you sure Washington is the #1 apple state?! Don’t you worry! I’m just kidding and just teasing! LOL! I know we’ve had cameo apples before, only they were from a local orchard, and not Washington π π Oh well! Next time I look at the labels on my apples, I will particularly think of you (but only if it says it’s from Washington! JK!)
Wow! That is a lot of cherries! It’s been awhile since we’ve had those π
Greetings Seven Sisters,
What a fun picture to post. It makes me want a peach!
I have often looked at your blog, and found it via a link on Miss Ra’chel Dixon’s blog…..your blog is so fun to read. So happy and inspiring for other ladies who want to dress modestly in pretty fashions…and the recipes are great too!
Your dresses are lovely….I am a fan of gowns with long skirts…LOVE them!
(I have an 1860’s style dress that I love to wear…but colors you all wear makes me want to get a pretty print and make a new dress) Thank you.
Oh, that looks so good!!! π I know you all are super busy this week, but I just want you to know that I miss you all tons and can’t wait to see you again!!!!!

Oh my, oh my! Should we plan a trip out to WA?! π How do Wenatchee apples and peaches compare to the common variety?
