Today I kept thinking of things I wanted to blog about, but now that I am sitting here…let’s see if I can remember them all!

Today I finally got the paints out and started practicing the One Stroke painting technique for mine and Lyssa’s new room.   At first I thought it looked terrible, but once I realized that it did look like roses and lilacs, and that it was never going to be perfect,  I was happy!  I can’t wait to get it on the walls!  Since Lyssa Jane likes purple, and I like pink, we painted the room pink with purple drybrushing over it.  Then Daddy and Mommy stayed in our room for a while, since their room was going to be torn out and redone.  It was fun when they moved their room upstairs, because that was the first time in a very long time that we  all had our bedrooms  upstairs. They were able to move into their newly done room this past Spring, so now the only thing holding us up is the border that we still need to paint!  We didn’t want to move in without the border painted, because we knew that it would never  happen then–that’s just the way it works!

Our youngest sister just got chicken pox…and I think that the rest of us will, too.  None of us have had it yet, and I hear it is harder on us "older" ones!  Thankfully my sister doesn’t feel too sick–she’s been playing out in the barn most the day.

In a little bit Cassie Gene and I will be playing on the roof!  Some of the gutters need cleaned in the front of the house, so she and I are going to crawl out her window and have some fun.

I am going to sign off for now…

Have a great day!

Hi! Thank you for the comment you left on my blog! Ah, you know what it is like to have a stubborn goat! Is it not very tiresome?? (:

You have a lovely blog also. I think it is so neat that you are a family of 11. We are a family of 7. I am the oldest!

I hope you are all doing well!
