Every year we have midnight mass at church. First we have a little “party”…playing games, listening to christmas music, dance, give presents to each other…and then around 10:30 pm church starts and it ends just at midnight! It’s probably my favorite night of the year. 🙂 My favorite item is the journal.
Ohhhh, that sounds absolutely lovely!
I “liked” this post.
I don’t really have a Christmas memory…so I can do one of the other ones right?
ok well my favorite thing your giving away are the little journals.
mary
Hi Miss Mary Mack! 😀 You can share a Christmas memory or favorite Christmas tradition…is there anything that you do every year around Christmas time?
My favorite Christmas memory is when we cut our own tree down. Brought it home, and put it up. Then a swam of baby praying mantis came out of it. We were all running around and vacuuming them up! We ended up using a fake tree that year… lol 🙂
Ella,
OH MY! That would be one funny Christmas memory 😆
I liked the post!
Ella,
I put one of my links on your linky.
Ella,

God Bless,
Carol
P.S.I love your blogs!
Okay! Here is my mandatory entry 😉
One of my favorite Christmas traditions is we always go to the Annual Walk-In Handel’s Messiah! Anyone can sing in it (I might next year) and it’s only an hour long, just long enough to enjoy it and not get tired of it! we are going this Sunday! 😀
I left a link on the “linky” post 😀
oops! I forgot to say which Item I like best that you’re giving away. Oh my…..um….. I like them all 😀 does that count? 😆 If I had to choose I’d probably go with one of the first three 🙂 I just CAN’T decide!!!!! 😛
My Mom let me “like” on her Facebook 😉

One of my favorite Christmas traditions are getting to visit family in Arizona! It’s the only time of the year we get to see them, and I always really look forward to it.
My favorite item in your giveaway is the little notebooks. I love the colors!
This looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun!

One of my favorite items in your shop is the “mint mocha brown and green mini notebook” 🙂

I liked this post!
I have to say the new glass ornaments are my favorite! Our family has a musical instrument themed Christmas tree and they would fit right in!
I am most excited about the vanilla sugar scrub you are giving away, but I think they are all lovely 🙂 One of my favorite Christmas memories is a Christmas pagent type thing our church puts on the first Saturday of December – its based off the Swedish tradition of St. Lucia and morning filled with 4 breakfasts we serve to the community, beautiful music and scripture, and lots of fellowship!
I linked up and commented at your linky party! (not sure if I’m supposed to re-link here?
Oh, you put me in a pickle. I love winter, and there’s something about Christmas that can’t be beat for atmosphere (If only we could take the Christianity out, I’d be happy–oh, the gasps I’m hearing. Don’t worry, I believe in Christ. I just take issue with celebrating a holiday not commanded in Scripture). Anyway, My favorite tradition that we enjoy is having cinnamon rolls on Christmas morning for breakfast. This year I shan’t have any, since I’m sugar free. 🙁 Poor little me. Then again…..I’m saving myself from poison they call sugar, so never mind!
Oh…yummy! We usually have ‘donut muffins’ for Christmas morning…I wonder how we’re going to gaps-legalize that one?! 😀
My favorite item in your shop? Only one? Well, I’ve been needing a petticoat, so I guess I’ll pick that. 😉 But your stationary sets are adorable, I can attest to that!
My favourite Christmas tradition is going to see the Christmas lights! There are some streets here where the entire (usually long) street is blocked off and every house lights up their homes for Christmas. Thousands of families come to walk along with Christmas music provided by charity bands and families along the way and other wonderful Christmas treats. I look forward to it all year. 🙂
How pretty! We like to go out driving and see all the pretty lights, but we don’t have anywhere around here (that I know of) that has the live music and Christmas treats…how neat!
Jessica
I linked to your Linky part. 🙂
I liked this post. 🙂
I love a lot of the things in your Etsy store but my fave at the moment is the JOY wall art with the stripes – they’re so cute and festive but still modern enough for my hubby. lol 🙂
another Christmas tradition we have is on Christmas eve, all get in our PJ’s and grab our pillows and go for a night drive to see all the different Christmas lights 😀 that’s fun 😉
One of my favorite Christmas traditions is the Caramel Pecan Rolls we have every Christmas for breakfast.
All your items look great but I think my favorite is the doily snowflake ornaments.
I put your button on my hairstyle blog, and I tried to do the linky thing. I have many items that I love in your shop!! I LOVE your glass piano ornament and the minty mocha apron, they are SO cute. Have a wonderful Christmas!
Blessings,
Bree
(Thanks again for e-mailing me back regarding canning peaches.
They sound wonderful, I wish I could enjoy some right now!)
You’re welcome about the peaches 🙂 You’re right…they do sound good right now 🙂
Thanks for entering!
Yum! At least you CAN (he-hee) eat them right now. lol!
By the way, our basement flooded at about the same time as yours. Your basement was much worse though. 😛
Blessings,
Bree
Oh dear! Does your basement have living space? We had a couple of neighbors who do have living space in their basements and they were having to hand-bail water out of their basements when we had no power 😛 No fun!
Yes! ‘Tis true about the peaches 😀 We had quite a few come unsealed again…bleh!
My favourite family tradtion is preparng the vegetables together on Christmas eve and listening to Carols from Kings on the radio, that is Kings College Cambridge here in the UK. Also I have loved the fact that the presents have never been the focus of the day, so we open them late on Christmas day with the fire lit and it is cosy.
My favourite item in the giveaway are the journals because they look so inviting to write in and my favourite etsy items are the aprons because they look so nice and I want one!
That sounds lovely, Ruth! Thanks for stopping by and entering 🙂
Hugs!
Jessica
I am a farmgirl at heart as well (love the pictures of your animals especially goats)..I was born in Indiana, but live in TN now. I love Indiana and miss it terribly. I am a homeschooling mom to three boys. My favorite memory at Christmas always involved the hunting for that perfect tree! Then realizing when you get it home that it was much bigger than you first thought and have to go to work giving it a ‘haircut’ to make it fit. My favorite item is the snowflake ornaments. I love things that are handmade and I like you pick up ornaments from my travels. Have a blessed holiday!
LOL! We have needed to give several of our Christmas trees ‘haircuts’ as well 😀 That sounds so familiar! We still have a slight dirt streak on our ceiling where one of our trees actually scraped it.
Thanks for entering and sharing!
I went over to visit your esty site and fell in love with the red cardinal apron. My grandmother lived with us when I was growing up due to her health and the one thing that she loved was watching birds, especially red cardinals. Those were her favorite! During the holidays, one always seems to remember those that aren’t with you anymore and seeing that apron made me smile..it reminded me of something she would have worn. I have her love for aprons as well…..
I know I’m a little late…. :I
But, I “liked” your post!
My favorite thing in your shop… oo! That is a hard one! I suppose one of my favorites would be the Hand Painted Glass Cello Ornament. (I love cellos 😀 )
I shared your button on our Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/joyouscrafts
My favorite recipe… I love ’em all! But my favorite cookies this year has to be our White chocolate cranberry oatmeal cookies. If you want the recipe, just ask, and I’ll give it to you. 🙂
Yes, do! They sound delicious 😀
Here you go! 🙂
White chocolate cranberry oatmeal cookies
•2/3 cup butter, softened
•2/3 cup packed brown sugar
•2 eggs
•2 t. vanilla
•1 ½ cups rolled oats
•1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
•½ t salt
•1 teaspoon baking soda
•1 1/4 cups dried cranberries (Craisins or equivalent)
•2/3 cup white chocolate chips
•½ cup chopped walnuts
Preheat oven to 375°
In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar until
light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time and the vanilla. Combine
oats, flour, salt, and baking soda; stir into butter mixture one cup at a
time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in dried cranberries and
white chocolate. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie
sheets. Flatten with hand. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in preheated oven,
or until golden brown. Cool on wire racks.
These are sooooo good, I very often get sick from eating too many! LOL!
Oh yummy! Thank you so much!
Every year we go over to my grandparents for Christmas. It’s one of the few times during the year that the whole family is together.
I like the journals the best =)
My favorite Christmas tradition is probably watching “White Christmas” as a family. 🙂
My favorite prize is probably the snowflakes by Susannah (thought I think all the prizes are so amazing!).
I think that my favorite Christmas tradition is of my mother making fudge. She makes the best fudge ever! Or atleast I think so. I get to help her sometimes and I really like that. I like helping make all of the deserts for our Christmas dinner. My favorite thing that you are giving away are probably the snowflake ornaments!
Every Christmas Eve we have fondue with homemade dipping sauces and dinner rolls.
I like the notebooks…they’re so pretty.
I really enjoy your blog 🙂
