Next we are giving away five pretty Christmas cards stitched by Anna.  Nothing says simple Christmas charm like these pretty notecards!

Then we have this yummy vanilla sugar scrub made by Mommy…but don’t eat it no matter how good it smells!  Comes in a pretty old-fashioned jar.

A set of three crocheted doily snowflake ornaments made by Susannah is the last of our giveaway prizes.   They have been lightly starched to help them hold their shape while hanging on your Christmas tree.

Every year we have midnight mass at church. First we have a little “party”…playing games, listening to christmas music, dance, give presents to each other…and then around 10:30 pm church starts and it ends just at midnight! It’s probably my favorite night of the year. 🙂 My favorite item is the journal.

My favorite Christmas memory is when we cut our own tree down. Brought it home, and put it up. Then a swam of baby praying mantis came out of it. We were all running around and vacuuming them up! We ended up using a fake tree that year… lol 🙂

Oh, you put me in a pickle. I love winter, and there’s something about Christmas that can’t be beat for atmosphere (If only we could take the Christianity out, I’d be happy–oh, the gasps I’m hearing. Don’t worry, I believe in Christ. I just take issue with celebrating a holiday not commanded in Scripture). Anyway, My favorite tradition that we enjoy is having cinnamon rolls on Christmas morning for breakfast. This year I shan’t have any, since I’m sugar free. 🙁 Poor little me. Then again…..I’m saving myself from poison they call sugar, so never mind!

My favourite Christmas tradition is going to see the Christmas lights! There are some streets here where the entire (usually long) street is blocked off and every house lights up their homes for Christmas. Thousands of families come to walk along with Christmas music provided by charity bands and families along the way and other wonderful Christmas treats. I look forward to it all year. 🙂

My favourite family tradtion is preparng the vegetables together on Christmas eve and listening to Carols from Kings on the radio, that is Kings College Cambridge here in the UK. Also I have loved the fact that the presents have never been the focus of the day, so we open them late on Christmas day with the fire lit and it is cosy.

My favourite item in the giveaway are the journals because they look so inviting to write in and my favourite etsy items are the aprons because they look so nice and I want one!

I am a farmgirl at heart as well (love the pictures of your animals especially goats)..I was born in Indiana, but live in TN now. I love Indiana and miss it terribly. I am a homeschooling mom to three boys. My favorite memory at Christmas always involved the hunting for that perfect tree! Then realizing when you get it home that it was much bigger than you first thought and have to go to work giving it a ‘haircut’ to make it fit. My favorite item is the snowflake ornaments. I love things that are handmade and I like you pick up ornaments from my travels. Have a blessed holiday!

I went over to visit your esty site and fell in love with the red cardinal apron. My grandmother lived with us when I was growing up due to her health and the one thing that she loved was watching birds, especially red cardinals. Those were her favorite! During the holidays, one always seems to remember those that aren’t with you anymore and seeing that apron made me smile..it reminded me of something she would have worn. I have her love for aprons as well…..

        Here you go! 🙂
        White chocolate cranberry oatmeal cookies

        •2/3 cup butter, softened
        •2/3 cup packed brown sugar
        •2 eggs
        •2 t. vanilla
        •1 ½ cups rolled oats
        •1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
        •½ t salt
        •1 teaspoon baking soda
•1 1/4 cups dried cranberries (Craisins or equivalent)
        •2/3 cup white chocolate chips
        •½ cup chopped walnuts

        Preheat oven to 375°

In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar until
light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time and the vanilla. Combine
oats, flour, salt, and baking soda; stir into butter mixture one cup at a
time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in dried cranberries and
white chocolate. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie
sheets. Flatten with hand. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in preheated oven,
or until golden brown. Cool on wire racks.
These are sooooo good, I very often get sick from eating too many! LOL!
