Today was a bit busier…Anna, Bekah, and Charissa washed their llamas ๐ย A lovely, wet, and stinky job…but the llamas look so pretty now ๐
Bekah and Annie
Each of the 4Hers each had a time slot to come and wash the llamas.ย I brought the girls earlier so that they could practice putting their llamas’ costumes on, and work on brushing out their wool.
Jules and Anna are sharing their llama, Lola ๐
“Why are you doing this to me?”
It was pretty cute to see Sarah, a beginner, practice being the ‘judge’ for all of the other girls ๐ย She did a good job ๐
Jules and Anna working on a poster to hang over their llama’s pen.
Bekah holding the goats for Susannah, while Susannah puts their tags in their ears.
I ‘got’ to help do some touch up shaving on Cabela, Noah’s goat ๐ย He did a pretty good job getting most of it, but goats don’t like their heads or legs being shaved, so I helped a little there.
Cassia helping Noah with his chicken poster. And Bekah photobombing, of course!
The completed poster!ย We can’t actually show our ducks/chickens this year because of the avian flu…they’re trying to prevent the spread of it, so we can’t have any ‘bird gatherings’, lol!ย But if they complete a couple of projects, they still get to ‘sell’ their birds.ย The buyers don’t usually get (or want) the birds anyway, so I’m guessing that the 4Hers will walk through the sale ring on Friday with a photo of their bird, or a stuffed animal duck, or something!
Tomorrow is animal check-in, when all of the animals get brought to the fair…yay!

I love the pictures and what I really love is the way all of you look so happy and are smiling. You all are very special.
I have to agree with the above comment. It’s so sweet to see how much fun y’all are having together, enjoying the time spent with each other before everyone’s all grown up.
