Today is the last day of General Project judging…and we all breathe a little sigh of relief! π
Not because we don’t enjoy the judging…we LOVE it!Β But we are so relieved to have the projects DONE and TURNED IN!
This morning, Bekah was weaving in her ends to her knitted baby blanket.Β Last minute, of course!
Noah, working on some last minute record sheets.Β And the messy table around him!
This picture should have went in yesterday’s post, because Charissa got her genealogy project judged then…but this is our ancestor, Thomas H. McGriff πΒ At first I was thinking that this was the Thomas that was almost scalped by Indians as a boy (and escaped!)…but I think that was another ancestor of ours named Thomas π
Pretty handsome, isn’t he?Β Well okay…stern looking π
I believe Charissa said her project was going to the State Fair!Β Woohoo!
Cake decorating is being judged tonight.Β I don’t know the results yet, but I like what Noah did! πΒ It’s awful cute having a brother in 4H, doing the ‘guy projects’, as well as the ‘guy version’ of what we girls have done πΒ Β Isn’t his ‘CASE’ tractor pretty cute?
***UPDATE! Noah told me he got a blue-honor on his cake π
Poor Rebekah had TONS to do, and as a result, she was finishing her cake right up until it was time to walk out the door to leave for judging!Β Our poor grandma would have had a cow!Β Hehe!
***UPDATE!! Bekah also got a blue-honor π
We weren’t being much help!Β I was trying to get a picture of her decorating it, and everyone photobombed the picture π
She finished it!Β And it’s pretty cute π
One of Noah’s photography pictures (he got a blue ribbon on his poster!)
Rebekah’s picture of Boden (the 2-year-old we babysit).
Doesn’t he just melt your heart?!
Anna’s photography picture.
And thus is the end of the Three Days of Judging π
Leah is still busily helping with all of the judging projects.
Cassia has helped a lot with the llama ‘committee’.Β I think she is helping get the tent site ready tonight, so that there aren’t as many sand burrs to get stuck in the llamas wool.
I’ll see if we have anything exciting to post in these next few days…it’s kind of the ‘lull before the storm’ when the actual fair starts up on Sunday π
P.S.Β I almost forgot!Β Noah’s Farm Toy scene π He just came home and said that it got a blue ribbon πΒ By the way…the ‘dirt’ in the field is coffee.Β π

Congrats on all the awards! Everything looks amazing as always. Especially congrats to Charissa with her project going to state fair!
I’m really enjoying these posts. I must say though everything in this post is splendidly done, I especially love the photo of the kitten.
