{don’t say "yuck" till you’ve tried it!}
I have finally found out a way to use up those 4 loaves of gluten free and nasty tasting bread that is sitting in the freezer…other than for bread crumbs 🙂 Since going gluten free I have not enjoyed a good piece of gluten free bread until now except for the cinnamon raisin bread of this same brand. A friend told Mommy that she fried her bread in olive oil that that it tasted really good. You know what I thought?
Yuck!
But today after lunch I wanted to eat something. Something bread-like. The really good challah bread that was sitting on the counter was torturing me…I wanted it so bad! So I decided that I would finally go ahead and try the fried bread. There was nothing to waste if I didn’t like it because there are three more loaves in the freezer.
Delicious!!
I think I’ll go fry myself another piece!! 🙂

"Yuck!"
Just kidding! I may have to try that! : )

That looks really good. Why did you go gluten free? My Mom and little brother are gluten intolerant and I've really enjoyed your recipes.

I THINK IT LOOKS REALLY GOOD AND YUMMY..LEENA
ROFL "nasty tasting bread". LOL I knew this had to be Cassia or Susannah when I read that.
Challah = AAAAA+++++
I actually really love doing this! I haven't done it with gluten free bread, but do it sometimes as a side for dinner. Just an alternative. If you are grilling, it also works really well to coat bread in olive oil and put it on the grill too!
We have the same olive oil.
I'm glad you found SOMETHING to do with that nassty stuff! I must say, it looks pretty good:)
Much love and a hug:)

yum!
Does it have tapioca flour in it? Baked goods with tapioca taste bad when they are cold. You need to heat them up–toasting, frying, whatever–and eat them hot.
