I have visted many blogs with the Simple Womans Day Book, So I decided to do it. But I do not know if I will keep up with it. I know today isn’t the day that you usually do it, but oh well:)

Outside my window…Snow, and lots of it too:) It just keeps on snowing and snowing.

I am thinking…"Let us die to make men free" We sang Battle Hymn of the Republic Monday.  That is where I got it, and it has been going through my head ever since.:) And every once in awhile I will "try" to sing some notes from a song on Anna93‘s playlist:)

I am thankful for…My warm home in this bitter cold weather. (-14 degrees)

From the learning rooms…Well, fortunately I am done with my school:) and I think everybody else is pretty much done, too.

From the kitchen…Nothing so far but apples, biscuits, and gravy are on the menu.

I am wearing…My jean jumper (which I really like) with a pale pink turtleneck.

I am creating…not much right now.

I am going…to go to my piano lesson soon! YIPPEEE!!!!! and grocery shopping, but I will be having my piano lesson while they are shopping. I do not particularly like shopping.

I am reading…a book called "Heros of the American Revolution".

I am hoping…My sisters get over their coughs soon.

I am hearing…coughing:), Anna, Bekah, and Charissa talking, and mommy and (I think) Jessica talking in the kitchen, planning a few things to get while shopping this afternoon.

Around the house…not much. Anna, Bekah, and Charissa are behind me making quite the noise, Jessica is putting down items on the shopping list, Susannah is upstairs listening to a history tape, and crocheting, and the boys are taking their afternoon naps.

One of my favorite things…reading my history, and reading particularly about the Revolutionary War!

A few plans for the rest of the week:Get my school done every day, get some letters written for my pen pals, and stay warm.

Here is picture thought I am sharing…

I should go to bed early for once.

 Have a blessed day!

~Cassia

    Hey, Cassia,

I've really enjoyed reading your recent posts! The one you did the other day about your day was very good. I have also personally experienced that. Things definitely go smoother when you ask God for help. Not that nothing goes wrong or anything. : ) It's just that you can deal with it in a more Christ-like way.

Doing a "Simple Woman's Daybook" was a good idea. I'll be looking forward to more… maybe even with different authors every now and then. ; )

Love your posts, Cassia! : ) Keep up the good work!{HUGS}!

    God bless,

    ~DB : )
