Today was a loooooonnnnnggggg day 🙂
Noah, Bekah, Anna, our friend Sarah, and Charissa…waiting for their class of goats to show.
The boys and I went to see the rabbits.  We used to do the rabbit project a while ago. Our grandpa was really into showing rabbits, and it was a project we did with him.  He’s gone now, and seeing the rabbits made me miss him again 🙂  I stopped and looked a little longer at the Dutch rabbits and remembered Papaw wondering why on earth we picked such a hard breed to show 😀  It’s pretty hard to get them to have perfect markings 🙂
When Leah asked him for a Holland Lop he teased her and said, “No, no, no!  You wanted Duuutch!  You wanted Duuuuutch!”  Lol!  But he got her a couple of Holland Lops anyways 😉
Leah and I waiting…
Fixing supper by the goat milking stand 🙂  During fair week, nobody really cares too much if they get a little bit of dirt or dust on our plates 🙂
One of the things we do when we’re waiting for shows is walk through the Merchants Tent.  I’m sure we walk through there 50 times throughout the week!  When we were up there tonight, we got to meet Curt Nisly, our state representative 🙂 🙂 🙂  Of course we had to get our picture taken with him!  All of us who are old enough to vote voted for him, so it was neat to get to meet him in person 🙂

Getting ready for the llama show tomorrow…
Usually we have cute little ducklings in this pen…but because of the avian flu, we have rubber duckies 😀
They also have an alligator show at the fair…Daddy and I stopped and watched part of it 🙂  The guy is demonstrating how Indians used to hold an alligator’s head under their chin so that they could tie the mouth shut.
Leah and Susannah
Our favoritest ice cream stand 😀  As of tonight, we have eaten a total of 41 milkshakes!
The goat barn
Showing at last!  It seemed like forever before they got to show 😀
They were good about being patient, though.
Mommy, announcing for the show.
We had some extra excitement tonight…there was a tornado watch while the goat show was going on.  And it poured rain like crazy.  It sounded like it was hailing for a little bit, but maybe it was just big raindrops 🙂

Anna won Grand Champion!
Talking over by the tack pen
And I am even MORE tired tonight than I was last night 😀
So good night!
I may not be able to do an update tomorrow night, but I’ll catch up on Wednesday if that is the case 😉  Tomorrow is the llama show!  Woohoo!
