Update on Meredith…

Another friend of ours from church just posted an update on Meredith here.  Thank you muchly for your continued prayers!

 

And yet another more recent update as of this afternoon:
“She is having an MRI right now, and shunt surgery is planned for Thursday at 1 p.m. There is a 5% chance of infection from the shunt, so please keep that in your prayers.

Meredith needs to be up and about before she can come home – Monday at the earliest. She is moving about a little more today, but not out of bed yet. Her neck is stiff and sore.

The name of this type of tumor is anaplastic astrocytoma, which tends to recur.”
