The Recipe Box
Italian Parmesan Bread
This bread is *so* yummy, especially with spaghetti or lasagna and other Italian-type foods 😀
1 pkg. (2 1/4 t. ) yeast
1 c. warm water (approx. 100°)
3 c. all purpose flour (can do half whole wheat)
1/4 c. butter, softened
1 beaten egg
2 T. sugar
1 t. salt
1 1/2 t. dry minced onion
1/2 t. Italian seasoning
1/2 t. garlic salt
1/2 c. parmesan cheese, divided
Melted butter
In a large mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in water. Add 2 c. flour and next 7 ingredients. Beat at low speed until mixed, about 30 seconds. Increase to medium speed and beat 2 minutes. Stir in remaining flour and 1/3 c. of the parmesan cheese; beat until smooth. Cover bowl and let rise until doubled (approx. 1 hour). Stir batter 25 strokes. Shape dough and place in a round, greased 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Brush with meleted butter and sprinkle with remaining cheese. Cover and let rise until doubled (about 1/2 hour). Bake at 350° for 35 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 10 minutes before removing from casserole dish. Serve warm with butter. Yum!

We love watching the Jost family’s videos, as do our friends. Go to our friend’s blog post to see their version of the Jostie’s “Rhythm and Muse” 😀
A friend sent an email to us with these pictures 😀
This public bathroom is made of one way glass…
This would be just too weird!!!
or…
Imagine you’re in a high rise building and you step into a bathroom that looks like this…
Oh dear! 😀
Cute Quotes
Isaiah told Leah one day, “Just so you know, we had cookies out of you.” (without you 😀 )
Daddy has remodeled our house several times, and what was once our dining room has become the ‘library’. However, some of us older one’s still refer to it as the ‘dining room’ out of habit.
So Noah was drawing a house and was showing Leah what all the different rooms were. She pointed out a room with a table and chairs asked if that was the dining room.
Noah said, “Dining room! No, that’s where they eat! See, here’s the dining room, see all the books?”

I sooo love the quotes from the little boys. I always wanted a little brother. I have been in a glass bathroom like that before. In a sandwich shop in my parents town, the door is like that and faces the line where the people stand. It is a very busy sandwich shop and I simply was unable to do what I needed to do with 20 people standing there! VERY STRANGE! P.S. I’d probably faint going into the high rise bathroom! YIKES!
I like that cover for “hitler stole pink rabbit” much better ;). There’s no way I would want to use either one of those bathrooms :)! LOL
Love, Kels
Awww, your brothers are SO cute!:) lol! How courageous of that old woman! Indeed the thieves were terrified of her! So that’s why we girls created purses! 😉 Perhaps, if you have any spare horseshoes, might I weigh it down to catch some villainous theives???:)
Thanks for sharing! I always love reading your posts!

I love the picture, who took it?
Those bathrooms are crazy! I cannot imagine going into the one with a two-way mirror.
That used to be one of my favorite books while I was growing up! I went through a WWII faze and another one I really enjoyed (and still do) is Number the Stars.
About those photos.. NO WAY. Surely not. Please. Especially the last one. If I had two bodyguards behind me for the first bathroom, I could possibly manage. 🙂 If the second one was not a bathroom, I would think it fantastic. But it’s not. I wonder if some people have way too much time on their hands. lol! 🙂
My Mum has read ‘When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit’, and she really enjoyed it. I’m studying WWII at the moment; right now I’m specifically reading about the rise of Nazi Germany, and it is so sobering to look at what Hitler was trying to accomplish and how he went about it.
Lotsa love
Jess
I’ll take the ‘no floor’ bathroom, thanks……..
And that’s something to hear for someone afraid of heights!
