Quote of the Week

“Time is free, but it’s priceless. You can’t
own it, but you can use it. You can’t keep
it, but you can spend it. Once you’ve lost it
you can never get it back.”

Cute Quotes

from the family journal:

1.4.11

Leah was giving Isaiah a big shell (that was inside a plastic sack), and he said, “I want the shelf to stay in the snack, cause I want to save it.”

12.5.10

Cassia was teasing Isaiah and told him dogs go “meow” and cats go “woof woof!” He said, “and people go, hey, you look good.”  I think he watched Fireproof a few times too many 🙂

1.20.11

Isaiah wanted Susannah to trace him a “peengun” (penguin).

Susannah: “No, you can do it.”

Isaiah: “No I can’t, I’ll keep getting it wrong!”

Susannah: “I might too!”

Isaiah: “Nuh huh! You can’t cause you’re old!”

Umm…is that supposed to be a mean remark, or a complement meaning I never mess up? 😉

Wow I am REALLY impressed by those bread sculptures. The first time I made homemade bread it turned out looking like a mushroom. Not on purpose 🙂 Do you have any idea on how they get the bread to look like that?

Wow, that topsy turvy cake is amazing! It would be fun to try someday, but I think that I will have to wait till my girls are old enough to do it.
