Apple Peel Jelly

Go on over to Feelin’ Feminine for the recipe for this apple jelly.

Toilet paper wedding dresses!  Aren’t they amazing?

A pretty hairpiece…

And something you can try at home to spruce up your bathroom…

…you can go HERE to learn how to do it!

Wedding dress pictures from Cheap-Chic-Weddings.com.  Depending on your style, you may not appreciate all of the pictures…as we girls like to say, they forgot to finish the dress! 😀  It really is amazing though what they have done with the toilet paper!

One night during supper, Isaiah had his mouth full of meat, chewing and chewing and chewing.  After a while he told Susannah, “I keep chewing and it won’t go gone!”

Noah heard that Jessica had had a pumpkin pie Blizzard, and so he was telling us all that she had a “ponkin pie lizzard!”

One night we were petting the kittens (or trying to, they kept going under the bush hog mower, out of our reach!) and Noah said that the kittens liked going under the “blender thing” 😀

Bekah was making a check off list for Noah on the computer and Charissa and Noah were behind her coming up with everything Noah had to do in a day.  While they were thinking, Charissa said, “We have to come up with something else Noah has to do!”

There must have been an empty space on the list 😀

Then they thought of “clear off table”.  While Bekah was typing it, Charissa and Noah were tryign to figure out how to spell it.  Noah said, “Clear…K-L…” 😀  It was cute hearing him try to spell a word!

The Seven Sisters Treasures is a weekly post where we share some of our favorite things.  We try and post every Friday.   Hope you enjoy!  ~The Farmgirls

          Your welcome!

I wanted to ask who tatted those BEAUTIFUL bookmarks? When I was nine or ten I went to a Victorian Festival, there was a lady there that taught me how to tat. I lost my tatting needle though, it is probably in my drawer of special junk. LOL! Now, you have inspired me to get out a few library books on tatting! Thanks!

          God Bless,
          Brianna

She did a WONDERFUL job! How long did it take to make?

Do any of you crochet? I just crocheted a hat but I used the
wrong crochet hook, so the hat is WAY smaller than intended!
It won’t even fit my 1 1/2 year old brother! (Not that he would
want to wear it anyways…since it is pink!) I decided that I
would put it in my hope chest.

Then I had the great idea to make baby booties to go along
with the hat, so I searched on YouTube for a pattern. I followed
all of the directions to the “baby” booties pattern. Guess what
happened… It was a pattern for TODDLERS! And the bootie is
WAY too big for my 3 year old sister! It was quite funny!
Maybe I should stick to scarves… LOL!

    Have a GREAT Thanksgiving.

    God Bless,
    Brianna

Thank you! I could get one done in a day if I didn’t have much else to do 🙂

I am the “main crochet-er” of the family. I mostly make doilies, but a couple of months ago I made 7 (or was it 10?) hats 🙂
