The Amazed Cat

This was as funny as the Surprised Kitty that we posted about a while ago!

The Recipe Box

BBQ Beef Sandwiches

2 lbs roast, cooked and shredded OR 1 1/2 lbs ground beef, browned

1 T. mustard

1 c. ketchup

1 T. vinegar

4 T. sugar

2 T. onion, diced

Combine ingredients together; simmer 15 minutes.  Serve on sandwich buns.  Makes six servings.  We had these the other night and they were SO good!

Note:“Sarah’s Homemade Bread” makes very good homemade buns!

The Cates

We don’t know the Cates, or even regularly visit their blog, but we loved the picture she posted of the airstrip in Gibraltar…that cars cross like train tracks!  The link will take you directly to that post.

No, this isn’t our kitchen sink…but don’t you think it’s pretty?!

And now for an all new way to mop!  A real mop must be a whole lot easier though!

Cute Quotes

About three years ago we went camping at a place that had a man-made lake.  We were driving over the dam and were talking about how much they had to let the water down, and Bekah asked, “Do they let the water down fragilely?” (gradually)

We were getting ready to go camping, and Bekah and Charissa were reading things off out loud from our master camping checklist.

Bekah saw “welding gloves” and she said, “wedding gloves?! Why do we need wedding gloves?”

Charissa saw “baby monitor” and she read, “baby mother?! We don’t need one of those!”

Once while putting Noah to bed, Leah said Hebrews 13:21 with him.  She then laid down on the end of the bed and asked him if she could sleep there.  He said, “Um, yeah.  You can sleep there ‘n’ glory forever ‘n’ ever, amen!”

GRRRRRREAT post! 😀 I love the picture of the sparrow:) reminds me of a verse… 😀

The quote was just perfect! Going to a new church and all, it was a very good reminder to be friendly:) Even with people you don't think you like:D

The surprised cat was very funny! Ya gotta wonder WHAT was wrong with it! At least, I do:) An extended yawn, maybe? 😀

The cute quotes were VERY funny! 🙂 I'm so glad that God created families! They are indeed "very good" (Oh, wait, He said that BEFORE their were any kids, didn't He?:D) JUST kidding:D Children are a heritage from the Lord, right? 🙂

The kitchen sink is very lovely! Don't tell DB I said that! She can't stand decorating like that:D 🙂
