A December Dinner

Quote of the Week

He is come in peace in the winter’s stillness,

like a snowfall in the gentle night.

He is come in joy like the sun at morning,

filling all the world with radiance and with light.

He is come in love as the child of Mary.

In a simple stable we have seen his birth.

Gloria in excelsis Deo! Gloria in excelsis Deo! Hear the angels singing ‘Peace on earth’.

Cute Quotes

The other day Leah was teaching one of her sewing students.  As the student and her little siblings were leaving, the four-year-old sister saw the kitten’s litter box and asked Leah, “Is that…is that like, her own beach?”

From quite a while ago…

Charissa: Why doesn’t Daddy run for President?

Cassia: Because he doesn’t want to.

Charissa: Someone would have to do our animals.  Would someone have to?

Cassia: No, we would get rid of them.

Charissa: Ugh! I don’t want to Daddy to be President.  Would we get our house back when we came back? 😀

Noah, Isaiah and Graham were running around hollering inside of the house.

Anna said, “Young men! Take it outside!”

Noah and Isaiah ran, still hollering, out the door.

Graham suddenly looks up, runs after them and says, “I’m young!!!”

Noah and Isaiah were sitting at the counter eating breakfast talking about the lunar eclipse we saw back in October, and the solar eclipse that is coming up (between slurps of smoothies and mouths full of pancakes).
Then Isaiah said, “Hey Noah, {slurp} when we have {slurp} the next honeymoon {slurp}, I will be 22!!!”
We’re not sure how he got honeymoon out of lunar eclipse 😀

The Seven Sisters Treasures started out as a weekly post, turned into bi-weekly post, and is now a post that we like to do when we find the time to compile a bunch of our favorite things 😉  Enjoy!

Thank you, Athanasia 🙂 Daddy built it on to our house and we spend most of our time out there because of all the light from the windows (it’s also a family room) 🙂
