Not a lot of time for a long post, but we wanted to put up a few pictures from today 🙂 Today we showed goats, and a couple of the girls got reserve champions for their does…of course it helps when your goat is the only one of two in the class, lol! But really, they did pretty good and had fun anyhow!

My dd 9 yrs old is going to show her pygmy goat in one month. Do you have any suggestions on getting the goat to walk instead of being “dragged” for a walk. Its our first time and we know nothing about goats. Thanks!!
Oh my! Yes, we’ve noticed that pygmy goats seem to have more stubborness than usual, lol! We joke that they ‘plow sawdust’ (since our show ring has sawdust on the floor) 😀 Not sure if we have any special tips, other than walk the goat as much as possible at home. But be comforted…yours isn’t the only one!
are you suppose to wear black skirts and white blouses/ white dresses ???
Yes, we are 😀 They used to require all white, which I liked, but was very impractical when you are working with animals, lol!
