Last night, Cassia, Susannah, Kelley, Leah and I played Monopoly with new and improved rules!!! It started out that we didn’t want a super long game, so we agreed that we would have a silent auction for all of the properties at the beginning of the game. That part was almost as much fun as the game itself! If someone really wanted a property, they would bid higher than the value of the property usually, sometimes way higher than the rest of us! Whenever Cassia didn’t want something, she would usually bid something crazy like $7.50 or 1¢ 🙂
We continued to make up rules as we went, and our version of Monopoly even included a stimulus package 
.

We silent auctioned all properties before the start of the game. For the house properties, we auctioned them off as sets (so you’d buy Baltic AND Mediterranean together). All auction money went to Free Parking.

We divided ALL the money in the bank between the players.

We set how many times we were going to go around the board. We set for 5 times and it took us at least and hour and a half!

When we picked up a Chance or Community Chest card, and we had to pay money, it went in Free Parking. If we were to receive money, we received it from the person on our right 😀

When we bought houses, that money went into the bank. As soon as there was enough in the bank to divide evenly between the players, we handed it out. We called this the "Stimulus Package" .

We also played "Sneak Monopoly" on top of all of this 😀
I think Cassia is excited about this one 🙂

Oh, and did I mention that because we all got hotels pretty quickly, there were not enough hotels to go around?! Since we had extra playing pieces, those became our "hotels". Quite fancy ones, I think! To the right you can see what we called Susannah’s "booming" hotel : D
At the end…Kelley and Leah adding up how much money they had to see who won…Susannah, Cassia and I didn’t even bother to count ours!
In the other room, Scott and the younger girls were playing a game of Phase 10. It sounded like they were having quite a fun time, too!
What? You want the next clue for Project X?! Okay, well go take a ride on the Reading Railroad and pay the owner twice the original amount.

i like monoply i havent ever finished a game though =) lol i LLLLLOOOOVVVVEEE phase 10 i have like only played it like 2 or 3 times cause no one likes to play it with me =)!!
ok the X thingy is making 0 sense it is farmgr so far..(well thats what i think it is =) last time i was wrong =)) we all thought it was going to be farmgirls something but obviously its not..so…idk =)
