Meredith is now with Jesus.  It is so hard for us…to have a friend who was perfectly fine one Sunday, and in the hospital the next.   And now six weeks later she has left us.

She passed away at about 10:30 last night (or at least that is when we got the news).  Cassia and I got to go see her on Saturday night and pray for her…and I’m SO glad.

Thank you everyone for your prayers for her and her family–they have been such a blessing to them!  Her funeral is planned for Saturday.

I feel like this is very chopped up…and I’m not saying all that I really want to say.  She was a dear…and we’re going to miss her!   When I think of where she is right now and what she is seeing and hearing and feeling, oh my!  I’m jealous!

Some day the silver cord will break

And I no more as now shall sing;

But oh the joy when I shall wake

Within the palace of the King!

*   *   *

Someday my earthly house will fall

I cannot tell how soon ’twill be;

But this I know, my All in All,

Has now a place in heaven for me.

*   *   *

Someday when fades the golden sun

Beneath the rosy tinted west,

My blessed Lord shall say, “Well done!”

And I shall enter into rest.

*   *   *

Some day: ’til then I’ll watch and wait

My lamp all trimmed and burning bright

That when my Savior opens the gate

My soul to Him may take it’s flight.

*   *   *

Then I shall see Him face to face

And tell the story, Saved by Grace!

And I shall see Him face to face

And tell the story, Saved by Grace.

Fanny Crosby

    Hello Ladies:

    What a blessing you are to Merediths’s family. And how the angels are rejoicing today in Heaven with another child at home with our Father. My prayers are with her family. It’s so hard for those left behind. What a blessing our memories are at a time like this.

    Many prayers and blessings,

    Betsy

    Oh my….I’m so sorry for her family! I’ll be in prayer for them now as I was for Meredith. Just the thought of her Praising him before his throne, no more pain or sorrow, I know she is so happy.

    Jessica – could you email me their address too?

    So sorry to hear she passed on. A restful place she is now. May her family be comforted in this very difficult time and those who knew and loved her.

    ((hugs))
