    Hi!

I think I will enter this one! But do I have to blog about it? You didnt specify so I wasnt sure.

    Okay, I told 3 friends : )

A funny way I do my dishes…well I guess you can call it funny..I have to and do rinse – practicly wash them – before I fill the sink with water and wash them. I must have them pretty much spottless before I can wash them – why I dont know but I do. I also pretend I'm getting paid for every dish I put away so it keeps my mind off what I'm doing – like playing a game not nessasairly with money but you know. so theres that one : 0 )

hmm a funny storie about dishwashing..

well our water goes straight outside through a pipe – our house is a super old farm house – and theres a window right infront of the sink so you can see the water coming out of it. And one day I was letting the water out of the sink and there was one of our roosters drinking from it and he didnt know that the water was going to be coming ot so it splashed him and he got all wet! It was pretty funny to watch!

My favorite thing about Fall is the weather..how chilly it is and how fresh the air is! I also love the colors of the leaves!

Alright there is all the stuff! But if I am supposed to blog about it let me know and I will do it.

    God bless!

    Love in Christ

    I think I will enter this one…

One of my favourite things about fall is that we always go apple picking in the mountains of North Carolina. Sometimes other families go with us, and it is a loverly way to spend a day. πŸ™‚

    I'll PM you my e-mail address…

And here is a funny story about dishwashing.

I am the dishwasher of the family, and one time I was loading dishes into the dishwasher when something when wrong with the water-sprayer and I ended up getting SOAKED!

And another time I accidentally put washing machine detergent in the DISHwasher instead of the CLOTHES washing machine. πŸ˜› Talk about a mess!

everyone thinks i am funny at rinsing my dishes cuz i simply let the water run and stick each dish under instead of filling the sink full and dunking them .

my funny story is that i was using the hose and the nozzle got stuck in the down position and i let go of it accidentally, thus spraying myself in the face and clothing as well as my cabinets.

When I'm washing dishes I stack them in the rack to dry in such a way that I can stack the dishes much higher than the rack. It's an art. πŸ™‚ I also try to be very careful to do it in such a way that they don't break. Sometimes I even amaze myself at how many dishes I can stack in one side of the sink. πŸ™‚

When I was approx. 9, my next sister was 7, and the next one was 5, we had the chore of doing dishes after dinner. For some reason we believed you couldn't do the dishes in less than 2 hours, but that was fine, because we certainly made sure to make every moment count. We would play with the suds, make ice cream out of the suds, and my younger sister (who was 5 at the time) decided we should be more realistic and eat the suds. It then became a dare of how many suds she could eat. Needless to say we were interrupted by our very wise mother who insisted that we NOT encourage her to eat the suds and we had to stop her if she ever did so again. Oh, the fun was completely gone then. πŸ™‚

My favorite thing about Autumn is the leaves changing colors, falling, and then crunching under my feet. It's my favorite part! πŸ™‚ I also love the smell of the leaves and driving down a back road that is covered with leaves.

You girls are very talented. One thing I do with my dishes, is we have 1 red plate that says "It is your special day" on it. I put this at someone's setting if they have had a great day, birthdays, to celebrate an acheivement, or just because and they get to "monopolize" the supper table conversation.

Knitted dishclothes are my favorite…I sure hope I win! πŸ™‚

    Blessings, kelly
