It’s Hi Time 4 A Nu Pst!

 

Uh, I think I’m was just trying to speak Chick-fil-A’s lingo! 🙂

Speaking of Chick-fil-A, has anyone tried their banana pudding shake? I want to, but haven’t yet! 🙂 (Just heard from my editor, they’re  not out till April 1st! 🙂 )

 

This post is not about anything in particular, just several little updates on life! 🙂

I just turned off the smoke detector, the oven was smoking (a common occurrence around here lately,) I don’t mean smoking as in “it’s on fire”, but something spilling over and burning on the oven floor!

That smoke decector has such a shrill sound, and very loud. Kind of hard on your ears when you have to go right up to it to turn it off! 🙂 But nonetheless, I’m quite thankful for it, even if I do have to go deaf once in a while to turn it off! 🙂

 

 

The weather has been quite delightful lately! Warm and windy, a nice combo for people with the winter blues! LOL! 🙂  I saw a field today with a million little green sprouts, it was such a lovely sight, I’m looking forward to seeing green again! 🙂

Lately I’ve been  awed  my by family, I love ’em muchly,  and recently, have really been taking in their greatness! 🙂

My little brother was talking to me, as I listen to him, I watch his facial expressions, and look at his handsome blue eyes. I was thinking ” you are beyond cute, and  growing up too fast!”

I wouldn’t trade them for anything in the whole wide, wide world!

(Thank you dearest Mommy, for working on relationships as we were/are growing up! Someday,  we’ll be old and still best friends!)

 

 

I’ve also been learning amazing things in school! I started studying anatomy, and love it!

I found this neat picture of how our veins and arterys connect:

 

 

The arteries bring blood from your heart, it then goes through tiny, thin walled blood vessels (called capillaries), where your blood gets good nutrients and oxygen, gets rid of the bad things in your blood, and then it brings the good stuff back to your heart through your veins.

Another thing, our bones are strong as steel, yet flexible! That’s because of two things called collagen and minerals. Working together, the collagen makes your bone flexible and the minerals makes it strong. It’s so neat to read how God made us! 🙂

 

 

Orchestra practice has started again, I’m excited about some of the pieces were playing.

Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Hayden, and the Sound of Music, to name a few! 🙂

Yesterday’s cello lesson was very much appreciated, I got some very  helpful info concerning my orchestra music!

 

 

 

Yesterday was quite the day! I wasn’t feeling 100% but it was such a great day!

My joy was unbounded!

At one point I was thinking about how God has been really working on my heart this past month, and His mercy and love to me.  I thought of the song lyrics “When nothing else could  help, LOVE lifted me!”   It warmed my heart just thinking how that was SO true, I knew it was true, because He had done that for me!

 

“I sing because I’m happy, I sing because I’m free!”

 

I’m  the kind of person that speaks and expresses my feelings, when I’m exceedingly happy, I have to talk, sing, dance/jump through the house (rather than just plain regular walking! :)), or do something, ’cause if I don’t, I will certainly burst!

So yesterday as we were getting ready to leave for lessons, I was packing my lunch, but also skipping through house, singing random words, to random songs, acting goofy, and jabbering!  Susannah (who wasn’t going because she wasn’t feeling well,) jokingly said, “I feel sorry for you Leah, I’m glad I’m not going.” LOL! 🙂

 

 

My little sister who isn’t so little any more,  just turned 11! She’s so sweet, and growing up too fast! We all are really! 🙂

It’s hard to believe I’m going on nineteen, and graduating from high school…can school really be almost over?  (I will of course still keep learning though!)

What’s in the future? I don’t know, it looks scary, uncertain, but also bright and amazing! I’m learning to trust God with the future, and take one day at a time.

I recently wrote a friend and was telling her how crazy it is that life goes by so fast!

I said that in this short time I have on earth, I want my life to be in line with God’s will, and I want to make a difference!

 

 

As I started this post last night, Jessica was on the other computer. She had the nerve to look over here, read my post’s title, and then proceed to tell me she was doing the same thing! Ah, that girl, she beat me to it! (hee hee, I’m teasin’ you Jessica, I liked and enjoyed reading your post. 🙂 )

But that’s okay, because you’ll get two different perspectives. 🙂

As you go about your day, remember that today is a gift from God, and that He loves you VERY much, more than we could possibly understand!
