Do any of you live close to here?  Have you been here?  If so, I’m jealous!  I discovered it through the featured blogger, Engimama.  I LOVE AIRPLANES!  So does Daddy…I think I got it from him 😀

Every time an airplane, or helicopter flies low over us (I don’t get very excited over the tiny blinking lights I see in the sky everyday), I run outside or peek out the windows 😀  A life-line helicopter flies over us pretty frequently, and there are crop dusters every once in a while (that must be quite the fun job!), not to mention our little town has an air show once a year, so you see “homemade” airplanes fly over a lot then, too!

My favorite, though, was when Leah and I were little, riding our bikes, and a military plane of some sort went roaring overhead.  It was so low, Leah and I hopped off of our bikes and crunched near the ground 😀  It wasn’t actually flying that low, but it was loud enough I guess we thought it was safer close to the ground 😀  I vaguely remember seeing the pilot, but then that’s been so long ago, maybe I was just hoping I had seen the pilot!

I tried to interest my family into going to the above museum, but the idea didn’t “fly” 😀  We live much too far away! Oh well, maybe I should just look closer to home…I know we have aircraft museums in Indiana!

We live in Indiana as well and we try to get out to the Museum of the United States Air Force in Dayton, Ohio a few times a year. It is excellent!

Oh, I love airplanes too! Everytime I hear one I go running outside and turn my eyes to the sky, hoping for a glimse! 🙂

The USAF one in Dayton, Ohio is great!! And it’s FREE!! My family attended a balloon launch this past weekend and they flew a B-17 over several times, it was really neat.
Dayton is having an air show this next weekend and they fly the old military planes and the Blue Angels will be there, it is a great show, you might consider it some year.

Wow! That sounds really, really neat! I was telling Daddy about it, and he said that he went there one time, before he was married 😀 It keeps sounding neater and neater 😀

I think it’s time for a trip to Ohio 😀

We do have an Air Museum near us. You can ask Kelley about it. Just in case..you know…you find yourself in the East. 🙂
