    I remember those glasses!

…and I think I remember when we had that picture taken with the poinsettas
…I remember how you used to play with your ears and stick them inside of themselves 😀
…I remember that ‘stroller cart’ you are pushing Anna in 😀
…I remember you girls swinging off the barn loft in that box
…I DEFINITELY remember when you color-penciled your lips 😯
…and I remember when you got that coffee at the rest stop on the way to Iowa 😀

I remember the day you were born, too, and I am so glad that I got a sister instead of a brother (like I thought I wanted then;) )

Love you! And HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY!

    Jessica

p.s. in picture no. 4 your orneriness shines through very well, lol!

Happy, Happy Happy birthday, Cassia! I keep trying to catch up to you in age, but you keep evading me, and before I know it, you’re another year and a half older. Maybe I should just give it up…. 😀

    Go n-éirí an bóthar leat
Go raibh an ghaoth go brách ag do chúl
Go lonraí an ghrian go te ar d’aghaidh
Go dtite an bháisteach go mín ar do pháirceanna
Agus go mbuailimid le chéile arís,
Go gcoinní Dia i mbos A láimhe thú.

Irish, of course! It is translated

May the road rise to meet you
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
        And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Oh, oh, oh! I like it 😀 (And thank you for translating! 😀 ) Apparently Google Translate doesn’t translate Irish!

You can never trust that thing anyway. 😀 Hint: never try to use it for genealogy. You shall find the strangest things!

ROFL! Genealogy?! Now that would be hilarious! Yes, I know…it’s very unreliable! Once I tried translating something I wrote into a different language, and instead of sending the package over the ocean, it was sending it through the ocean, lol! Now I know that they send packages by boat, but I’ve never heard of sending them by submarine!
