Do you have fruit fly problems?

Here is the answer to this in 4Β easy steps πŸ˜‰

You need:

vinegar

a slice of banana

a jar

tape

a piece of paper.

1. Take the jar and put a slice of banana and some vinegar.

2. roll a piece of paper into a funnel and tape it

3. put it in the jar and tape the top part of the jar to keep the funnel in place

4. set in where ever your having the fly problems and they will go down the funnel and stay down there because they don’t think of going back up the funnel!

This is what ours looks like:-)

Oh My family tried that one time! After a while the Banana got quite disgusting! But it did keep the fruit flies away!

    God Bless!

We have a wonderful ‘recipe’ for catching fruitflies………. A shallow bowl with vinegar (They like red wine the best, I think because of it’s color) then pour some dish soap in it and viola! A fruit fly swimming pool! it works, and the name fits, because the nasty beasts sit on the edge enjoying the smell before they dive in! “Ahhhhhh, the wonderful smell of fermenting food! Hazel, come SMELL this! *SniFFFFFFFF* This is FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!! Look at Fred at the bottom! It must be great-he has been down there for five minutes! Hey Fred! How’s the vinegar! Hazel, you go first-see how warm it is. Ahhhh, there’s nothing like warm, fermenting food!” πŸ˜€

No, I’ve never heard that before. Hmmmmm. I’ve always thought of myself as very quiet and reserved…………. NOT AT ALL! πŸ˜€
        Enjoy your fruitflies, Spinster! πŸ˜€

ROFL!!!!!! You are FUNNY!!!!! That’s exactly what someone in our family would say…… Then, in typical ‘our family’ style, it would launch into a long reenactment with someone impersonating contemplating the ‘ways to eat a fruitfly’ (a little butter, a little lemon, maybe a hint of basil………..) πŸ˜€ I can see it now!
            oh dear…….

p.s. it just isn’t fair that your name fits so nicely into the ‘old maid’ thing! I can’t get “spinster” to work with mine!!! LOL!

It’s probably good that ‘spinster’ doesn’t fit with your name…… the way ‘old maid’ fits so nicely with mine is a little alarming! πŸ˜€ LOL! And that picture is just disgusting, btw! πŸ˜€
Till next time, my spinster friend! Give my best wishes to Mildred and Hazel, the wretched creatures! *shudder*

PS sometime I’m going to accidentally sign my name like that on a letter and my pen pals are going to wonder about me………not that they don’t already! πŸ˜€ πŸ˜‰ LOL!!!!
