Every year we kids shut our bedroom door and decorate it, then have music and have a ‘showing the room’ for the family to see. (and yes, this does get competitive!) We’ve been doing this ever since I can remember, and when I was little, I was pretty proud of the string of hot pepper Christmas lights I used for my room ^_^ Thankfully we’ve come a long way from that string of hot pepper lights!
And if you want the whole experience, you can play THIS music. We always play music while we ‘show’ our room!!
Bekah, Charissa and I were the first to get ours done, and in the middle of decorating, I suddenly didn’t feel in the Christmas spirit and almost didn’t finish it! We did little paper cut out snowflakes for the large window. Rephrase. Charissa made the cut out snowflakes! I quickly realized how much I couldn’t make a decent looking one, so I just stuck to hanging them up ; )
Bekah has been learning quite a lot with chalk board art, and is getting really good at it. (this is hung on the outside of our door)
She also used a white erase marker and drew these snowflakes on the little window!
I love our big wall mirror. It makes the room feel a lot more open and roomy.
What is one of your favorite Christmas traditions?

Wow! Very pretty! I love decorating for Christmas too.
I really like the chalk art on the chalk board by the guitar.
Oh I love this!
You have such a nice way of decorating, so cozy and festive!
Wow! Your room is beautiful! Gives me inspiration for my girls. I think they’re old enough to appreciate a feminine touch. So pretty!
