It is so sad that Christmas is over…at least, that’s my opinion!  But I recently saw a quote by Dr. Suess that said, "Don’t cry because it’s over.  Smile because it happened."  : )

Christmas morning we all slept in, had a yummy scrambled egg casserole and cinnamon rolls for brunch,  fed our animals, and did the dishes before we opened presents.    The littler ones were restless and kept asking when  we were going to open presents, and peeking at their stockings, and just getting very excited πŸ™‚  At 11:30 a.m. we finally began. We open one at a time, so that each of us can see everyone else’s reactions and surprises—it takes a very long time, but we like it!

And now…for some pictures πŸ™‚

Here is to start out our "reflections" of Christmas…. .    The boys’ reflection in it is too cute!

The stockings…

Isaiah looking to make sure he didn’t miss anything πŸ™‚

After the boys opened their stockings, they laid on the floor and played (very loudly!) with their new tiny tractors that Leah got for them : )  It kept them occupied, but they were very noisily occupied!  They can make the loudest tractor sounds.  Especially Isaiah πŸ˜€

Remember the post about this coupon?!  Daddy liked it very much : D

Daddy built something for the boys for Christmas, and they are waiting to uncover it here  : )

Isn’t that barn the neatest thing? I know the boys think so!

Charissa gets a kiss for the present she gave Daddy…an apple pie πŸ™‚

Anna, Bekah, and Charissa got to open this one together…

…it was three matching jumpers from Cassia.  The fabric has "ABC" all over it, which is perfect for our "ABC’s"….Anna,  Bekah,  and  Charissa : )

You would think that this paper must have a great note on it, promising her something wonderful, but Susannah was just being goofy and pretending that she was so overjoyed to get this piece of paper that was used as packing material!   What she really got was some neat stationery : )

Leah’s unusually wrapped present : )

This blouse was stuffed in that tube!

One of my favorite presents…a new jumper πŸ™‚

Cassia’s favorite!  A book called "Fireproof Your Life" by Michael Catt πŸ™‚

This one meant a lot to Mommy…Daddy had the copy of a picture of our grandpa’s ship framed for her : )

We found a piece of wrapping paper that was taped together in the shape of a military hat πŸ™‚

The mess afterwards .

Our Christmas Dinner : )

Hope you all had a very merry Christmas!

    Thank you, Amanda!

Hee, hee! Yes, I forgot to put in that post that we frequently stick the bows to our head! I thought I had a lot more pictures of us doing that in there, but I guess not!

Love and hugs to you, too!

Loved the pictures! Do you still have your clothing website? I really liked the jumper your mom was wearing, and would not mind having one for myself.

We don’t really have a clothing website, but we do have an etsy shop where we make clothing occasionally πŸ˜€
