Yesterday I sewed a dress for my doll, and today I finished it! It is a white silk with lace and pearls! Making it was quite fun πŸ™‚

So here are the pictures of it:

It is so beautiful and neat! It must be so tricky to sew a teeny doll’s dress. Very detailed and smooth. I like it! Hopefully you girls will wear dress like that one day. Shalom!

You sure did a great job, Anna! Everything about the dress is pretty, from the material, to the beading, to the lacework. You sure are blessed to have sisters to teach you how to sew so well! Oh, and is that doll from Vison Forum’s Beautiful Girlhood collection?

    Anna-
A few weeks ago Jessica entered a contest on my website for coconut oil. This week, I’m giving away some things that I think you and your sisters will like as well. I’m giving away your choice of sewing pattern plus a craft book. Hope you enter! http://www.girlz4christmagazine.com/apps/blog/

    BEE-YOOUUUU-TI-FULLL!

You did an excellent job, Anna! I’m proud of you–you’re passing me up with your sewing skills!

P.S. Anna didn’t tell y’all that she came up with the pattern by combining 3 or 4 patterns and tweaking them to her liking! I know I’m prejudiced πŸ˜‰ but I think she’s pretty amazing!

    HUGS!

Oh, Anna! What a simply gorgeous dress! Your skill is amazing. I have sewn before, but never with that type of detail. I’m usually lucky my buttons are straight!

Don’t give up on this. This is an art and you are a crafts(woman). I really admire your talent and patience.

That is so beautiful!!! I love how delicate it looks!! πŸ™‚ I made a baby/doll skirt and shirt last year, I think. The shirt didn’t turn out too well, but the skirt was pretty!! πŸ˜€
