Room Decoration #2

*coughs* so, I was supposed to do this post awhile ago…last year (okay, 2014 wasn’t  that long ago!) Annnd, from all the comments, you all really like it when we do the post’s about our rooms! So here goes!

We had decided we wanted to make new beds, and get rid of our current bed frame (which was actually bunkbeds put together!) and also I found the desk when I went to a thrift store, I wasn’t going to buy anything till I saw the desk 😉

 So this is before we ever did anything to our room (including cleaning it up!)

 

Once we moved the beds and vanity out, we lived like this until our bed frames where made…much thanks to our brothers for helping us put all those screws in! (I don’t really specialize in that) 😉

 

And here is the finished product! These are kind of dark, so I have lighter pictures below.

 I so love our new beds! They don’t take near as much space up (plus we won’t have to worry about hitting our heads on the headboard anymore! hehe!)

 

We blinged our light switch plate!

 

I love love having the big wall mirror! Makes the room seem more open, and as Charissa says, we don’t have to fight for our space while doing our hair! 😉

 

And this chair…it was mommy’s when she was in school! But it was a brown with an ugly pea green vinyl covering, so I painted it, and  covered with the fabric.
