Today is Cassia’s graduation open house. ย The food is ready, the house is clean…now we’re just waiting for company to arrive ๐ ย We’ll probably be posting more pictures later, but I wanted to show you all the cakes real quick.
ย The first cake is chocolate with chocolate icing. ย The quote on there is Cassia’s ‘class motto’. ย Her class was so kind as to let her pick it ๐ ย ๐ ย Of course, it helps she was the only one in her class.
This cake was her ‘interests’ cake ๐ ย Llamas, science, helicopters, all things patriotic, and the emergency medical services.
ย This cake was a lot of fun to do ๐ ย Cassia found this picture on Pinterest and asked if I could make if for her. ย When I was putting on the piano keys I kept saying, “This is so cool!” ๐ ย Fondant is so much fun to play with.
The top of the cake, without the rose…
I’m off to ‘party’ now… ๐ ๐ ๐

LOVE the cakes!!!!! Will you come do my cake for my graduation next Spring? ๐ I wish you the very best Cassia! Congratulations, and stay close to Jesus. Keep being a blessing, and you ARE impressing! <3 ~Sarah
The party was so much fun! It is nice to see how the cakes looked whole:)
Wow!!! Those are wonderful! The last one is simply gorgeous!!! Really like Cassia’s “class motto” too.
Sorry we couldn’t come. Really missed seeing you all! Cassia, congratulations!!! So excited to see how the Lord continues to work in your life!
Love to you all,
Rachel (and Andrew!)
Beautiful cakes! Would you teach me how to do that? ๐
That would be fun, wouldn’t it?! ๐ I just started teaching my first ‘official’ cake decorating student last week which was lots of fun ๐ I don’t know where you live, but I’m afraid we live pretty far apart, don’t we?! -Jessica
Oh my! You all go all in, don’t you? ๐ What a blessing! Congratulations, Cassia! I’m going to go sit and stare at the chocolate cake now—all those little lacy designs intrigue me. You’re a fantastic cake baker, Jessica. ๐
That’s right Madison! We girls find every reason that we possibly can to have a party, lol! ๐ And thank you! Those lacy designs are actually quite easy…you just fill your bag with icing with a small round tip and squeeze away!!! It’s so much fun and one of my favorite techniques ๐ โฅJessica
I love the music cake! What flavour was it?
Thanks Kate ๐ The top tier was spice and the bottom layer is lemon…we still haven’t cut into that cake, hehe! ๐ I think the plans are to finally cut into it tomorrow.
GORGEOUS!! Love them all! ๐ Will you be able to come down next year for my graduation, Jessica and everyone else who helped with the cakes?!! Pretty please! LOL!
Great job!
Yes ma’am! That would be fun ๐ Both you and Sarah, lol! ๐
Those cakes are awesome! ๐ I love the designs!
Love ~*Chantelle*~
Beautiful job Jessica! I especially love the final musical cake – did you make the rose out of fondant as well?
Congratulations Cassia!
Thank you Julianne! No, the rose was real…I’m not that good with fondant ๐ ๐ ๐ We happened to have ONE red rose in our flower garden, and it went so well with the piano cake ๐ -Jessica
Congratulations, Cassia! And Jessica, those cakes are amazing!
Great job on the caKES!!!!!!!!! You guys have alot of talents!!!!!!!!Is it a best kept secret or how old is Cassia?
Yes…it’s a very highly guarded secret!!! ๐ Hehe! I’m just kidding! She’s 19 now (just turned 19 about a month and a half ago) ๐
GREAT JOB!!! I love them! ๐
Congratulations, Cassia! I wish we could have come (I loved your invitation ๐ )
Love you all! ๐
I am amazed by these!!!! I want to bite into the chocolate one.
I make cushions but would have no patience or talent for cake decorating. WOW!
Jessica is working on some custom designed stationery for me. I found her on Etsy!
I was doing a search for a garage sale with the same name as her shop “SEVEN SISTERS”.
They have the sale every year….never found “IT” but glad I found Jessica.
GREAT JOB!
Thank you so much Cathy! ๐ YOUR work on cushions amazes me! Cushion and couch covers scare me, lol! -Jessica
Beautiful cakes—each one is quite lovely! I don’t know how you got those little “science papers” on the 2nd cake—are those edible?
Congratulations on your graduation, Cassia! I hope that God will bless you as you embark on this new stage in your life!
Cassia wanted something to do with science/anatomy on her cake, so I jokingly said, ‘Do you want me to put a skeleton on there???’ We both decided against that because I’m not sure I could have made a convincing skeleton and we also thought that was weird ๐ So she printed off some pictures she found online and laminated them, so they’re not edible, but it works! ๐ -Jessica
Ha ha! Yes, I’m sure that a skeleton would have been weird on a cake. ๐ The little anatomy papers came out looking super cute. I love the idea!
BEAUTIFUL CAKES!!!!! I love them! Congrats Cassia! Oh, and, that was very kind of your class to you pick the motto! lol ๐
Wow!!!!! Those cakes are beautiful!!! You do a great job. Congratulations, Cassia, on your graduation!!!!
I was wondering Cassia, did you eat the music cake?
Yup! It’s just about gone now. ๐
-Cassia ๐
You can e-mail me but I was wondering if you would do a giveaway for your etsy store?
I too love lamas! And patriotic things. Do you have a lama?
Congrats I have a sister that graduated last year and a brother this year
Wow! I love that music cake! Do you mind if I pin it on Pinterest?
And Congratulations, Cassia! It’s an exciting step in life, isn’t it?
In Christ,
Caitlin
Sure, that would be fine if you wanted to pin it on Pinterest ๐ Thanks for asking ๐
Thank you, Caitlin! Yes, an exciting time for sure! ๐ Especially when walking with Him. โฅ

Wow! Cassia is joining the Emergency Med’l Servs! That is so cool. Will she get to fly in a helicopter, or is she taking lessons or somethign? What cool things to be doing after graduation.
Beautiful cakes, BTW!
Yes! She is thinking about joining EMS ๐ And the helicopter is just something she likes ๐ I’m SURE she’d love to fly one, though ๐ -Jessica
