So many people think we’re Amish anyway, so we decided we might as well be 😀
Okay, we’re kidding! (or is that horsing around?) Anyway, one of our neighbors is having a garage sale, and some Amish that live in this area helped themselves to our fence to tie their horse to while they walked over to the garage sale 😀 We certainly didn’t mind…after all, who would mind having a horse on your property?!! We think they might friends/relatives of some other friends of ours.
You know who we’re talking about, right Rachel Irene?! 😀
Anyway, it made us laugh and we couldn’t resist teasing you all 😀

Are you guys realy amish or are you Mennonite? I thought they were the same thing.
No, we’re not Amish, or Mennonite…we’re just confusing, lol! We go to a Baptist church, but the way we look has nothing to do with our church 🙂 It’s just our family’s personal decision 🙂 We tease that we confuse most people because they think we’re Amish or Mennonite, and then some of Amish and Mennonite are confused as well, because we look very liberal them 😀
Amish and Mennonite are different from each other…there are a TON of different groups that allow different things, but generally Amish have horse and buggies, and no electricity, while Mennonites will drive cars, have electricity, etc. But that is oversimplifying because there are SO many differences within both of those categories, including Mennonites who drive horse and buggies 😀 Confused yet?! I know I am, lol!

Thanks for clearing that up! 🙂 😀 I was raised Church of God; I wear headcoverings and long dresses (which is not our church’s doctrine), but I also wear some jewelry and make-up. I guess I probably confuse people too! 😀
