The doctors have been consulting with physicians around the world to try and figure out Meredith’s rare cancer.
The news from Johns Hopkins (second opinion) was not good.
From her mom:
“A world class physician there has diagnosed glioblastoma multiforme, which is stage 4 cancer. It has less than a 20% survival with conventional treatment. They estimate 12-14 months to live with standard treatment. We are not going with standard therapy, and they are wishing us success. If the prognosis had been better and we had chosen alternative therapy, Dr. Douglas said, “We’d be taking you to court.” We are watching her symptoms and keeping in contact with Dr. Shih at Riley, who will be monitoring her, doing MRIs, etc.”
We’ve seen God do SO much…He has a plan in all of this. If the doctors are saying ‘we give up’, then the only One that can heal her is Jesus! Thank you so much for all of your prayers!
Update on Meredith…
Hello!
We will be praying for Meredith. Do you know..has the family ever heard of the Gerson Therapy for Cancer?
http://www.alternative-cancer-care.com/Gerson_Therapy.html. We watched some documentaries recently on the high success rate that there has been with high doses of vitamin C and cancer. Very interesting. Of course, we know, that God can heal in a moment and so we will pray.

Thank you, Brianna! We’ll pass that information along to them 🙂
Hi,
The Lord works in mysterious ways! Even when it seems impossible he can still work! PRAISE THE LORD for that!
I heard that taking apricot seeds each day helps take away cancer…just a thought 🙂
Praying,
Olivia
On July 15, 2004 my husbnd was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer; we were told he had likely 6-18 months of life. We left devasted. We din’t know what to do or where to go, and ended up sitting outdoors at Starbucks where we sat and stared at each other for hours. After being there for a long time alone we were joined by a man walking up to us and asking if he could sit and pray for us. He said he felt the Lord leading him to this particular spot and the man and woman sitting outside were in need of his comfort. Even though it was a bright sunny warm day, not common here in Seattle, we were the only two people sitting outdoors while the indoor the coffee shop was crowded with coffee drinking people. This man prayed over us and for us. We felt such peace.
In September 04, we were contacted by the oncologist and surgeon that neew drugs were now available and they wanted to operate and try the now available chemo. We had been praying so hard for this and here it was. It is now 2012, and my husband is still living. His cancer returned in October and again we were given the worst of survival rate news, but again we believe in God’s plan and we know God can create light in the darkness.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Peace be with you as you travel this path in his arms.
Blessings, Mrs. Mari
Thank you so much Mrs. Mari!
