A couple of weeks ago, our dear friends from Connecticut came to stay for a week long visit…oh boy did we have fun 😀   Unfortunately, several of us got sick (in both families), so the last part of the visit wasn’t as fun for the ones with the sickness 🙁  However, we still all managed to have quite a bit of fun!

What are those?  Rag-heads???

Nope, it’s Charissa and Laura with nearly every hair bow we own on their heads 😀

It was cute seeing them take out each others’ bows…it was like they were doing this ‘dance’, going around and around and getting their arms in each others’ way!

Another day we went to the park near us…

…and had fun ‘hanging out’ 😀

Some of us came to realize how much we liked those benches we used to wonder why parents always wanted to sit on…

Anna and Allison on the swings…

I got on the bar-thingy-ma-jig-whatever-it’s-called.  Those are not comfortable!  I had thoughts of trying to hang upside down, but the thought was painful, so I quickly disregarded that idea!

Rebekah giving Noah and Isaiah a push.  They like swinging sideways in what they like to call ‘the diaper swings’ 😀

Cassia and Susannah

We love the swings at the park, because unlike our little swings at home, we can swing as hard and high as we like without the beam creaking…besides, it’s more of a challenge on these nice big swings!

‘Saiah, havin’ fun!

Hehe!

Leah was the photographer at this point, and decided to do a photo shoot with the bee that wanted a taste of her apple…

Charissa on the bar-thingy-ma-jig 😉

lOtSa FuN!

We then tried swinging each other around…hard!

So hard, in fact, that one girl went flying and landed right on her stomach!

Twin monkeys 😉  These two are like peas in a pod!

Noah and Isaiah…two more monkeys 😉

{Bekah}

Cassia discovered how much fun (and pain!) this bar could be 😀

Go Cassia!

Bekah decided it looked like fun, too 🙂

Susannah trying out the ‘zip track’…she had to bend her legs to even try to go anywhere 😀

Noah loved the monkey bars (and did quite well, too!)

Isaiah: ‘me, too!’

{Bekah}

Allison and Anna…the other two peas-in-a-pod!

Rebekah and Susannah…also so very much alike!

Playing hard makes you thirsty!

Scott got an iPad during their stay…that was fun to see and experience!  And that is our ‘Auntie Jen’ on the right…a very fun aunt we must say (pronounced ‘ahhnt’, not ‘ant’ like we say here in Indiana, lol!)!

Kelley and I playing a game of UpWords…we played with two boards to make it go faster, but we put down such lovely long words in the beginning that it took awhile to use up all the letters!

Andrew…the cutest little bug!  It was fun having a baby in the house again…Isaiah loved him!

It was fun seeing Anna and Allison do projects together.  They’d look up a project online, decide which one to do, and then they’d go off and make some pretty neat creations…hair clips,  zippered pouches, etc.

We did a lot of sewing together, which was fun!

We took this picture because it struck us funny that nearly everyone was on the computer when we had each other to talk to 😀  Anna and Allison were looking up another craft, Charissa and Laura were playing a game? not sure what Susannah and Rebekah were doing, and Bekah was playing with Rebekah’s phone!

Andrew with his daddy 😀

Allison and Anna…one set of our ‘chief lunch cooks’ 😀  The other set was Bekah, Charissa and Laura 🙂  They did a very good job, too!

One more picture, to make you smile 😀

This is what happens when a lot of girls stay up *really* late 😀
