I love the ones with the house sparrow! You are a great photographer, Anna!

When one of my brothers saw the picture of the chicken, he said, “they have a Pillow chicken, too!” πŸ˜€ Our neighbors have ten chickens, and we have named them all. One is a big fluffy black one who is so fluffy that when it runs it looks like a waddling pillow. πŸ˜€ So it’s name is “The Pillow Chicken”. They also have “Pork pie”, “Mr. Princess” (named because we thought for a while that it was a rooster), “Marmalade”, “Toast” “Henrietta” and a couple others……We had a rooster not long ago that became more like a dog for us. He would fly into the window box outside the kitchen and crow, telling us to open the window and deliver his due scraps (a live garbage disposal, if you will). πŸ˜€ We named him Howard, and he would tag on my heels when I went to get the mail. If we weren’t quick, he would come inside with us (he succeeded several times!), and also he would walk right in the open window……so we’ve had goats and chickens in our house now, not to mention rabbits and dogs…….bumpkins at our best! πŸ˜€

Oh my! Your rooster sounds like our goose…only he hasn’t become smart enough (thankfully!) to climb up to the kitchen window πŸ˜€ We have a cat who does that, though πŸ˜€ The chicken’s names are quite adorable πŸ˜€

What a pretty one of several of you with your instruments! Were you preparing to play somewhere special?
