My! What fun Florida is! We are staying with a cousin of Daddy’s in Florida and are feeling extremely spoiled! The past few days we visited the beach and got to see the sunset on the Gulf. It was so pretty. We also talked to a couple from Germany on the beach…it was neat to hear what America looks like to them–the landscape, the size, the houses, etc. They said that they love coming over here to visit 😀 Another time, we were at a rest stop, and a man that we’re pretty sure was from Great Britain judging by his accent, tell us that we all looked “very smart” in our “frocks” 😀 After staying in hotels for two nights, we came down to Daddy’s cousin’s house this morning, and she has pampered and spoiled us wonderfully…hopefully we aren’t rotten when we get back to Indiana 😀 She has had a constant supply of goodies and juices and water and repeatedly tells us to just make ourselves at home, and you know she really, really means it 😀 We aren’t used to having an unlimited supply (it seems) of food, whenever we want it, so it has been a real treat! The other thing they’ve spoiled us with is letting us ride their ‘gators’ or four-wheelers. The neighbors are going to be very glad when we leave, because we have been running up and down the dirt roads on the two gators all afternoon! It was quite hilarious to see some of the girls driving for the first time (and a little bit scary to be the older girl letting your little sister drive you around! Especially since some of them seem to have lead feet!)
They are such fun people to be around, too, and we can’t wait to visit them again 😀
Susannah and Anna took the video camera with them on one of their trips, so you can get a little idea of what it’s like!

We were quite surprised to see signs saying “Panther Crossing” while driving down the road, and later while eating breakfast at the hotel, looking out the window and seeing a sign by the pond, “Please don’t feed the alligators”. What?! We’re not in Indiana anymore, that’s for sure!!! We have so many stories and twice as many pictures, but they will just have to wait for another post 😀

are you going home now?
Totally off topic, but did one of the older girls attend a music conference in Chicago? I was watching 19 Kids and Counting and they had a shot of the audience for a practice scene in the church and I was sure I saw one of the Seven Sisters sitting there while Erin Bates played a piano piece. But I could be wrong too. Just wondering! 🙂
Looks like you are all having a lot of fun on your trip. 🙂
LOL! Yes! You are right 😀 That’s Cassia sitting there with our friend Kelsey…we’ve always meant to post about our time there and just haven’t done it yet!
