It is hard to believe that we’ve been blogging for two years! In honor of the occasion, we have put together a sampling of the 421 posts we have published 😀 :
-Here is our very first post…when we all went by “cowgirl names” instead of our real names 😀
-We shortly found out, after starting our blog, that we were ALL about to get chicken pox (none of us had ever had it before)! Leah and Jessica had said just the month before, “Wouldn’t it be nice to not have to go anywhere, or do anything, and just get to stay home???” Well, they got their wish! Besides the itching–it was a dream come true 😀 A tip to any who may go through chicken pox anytime soon: Cream cheese on Town House crackers, an unlimited supply (okay, almost!) of peppermint ice cream, and MOVIES are all things to help you endure it! ESPECIALLY the movies, because it gets your mind off of the itching! We’d finish one movie, take a break (to eat some crackers!), and then suddenly we were noticing the itching again…”Hurry! Let’s go watch another movie!” Here’s another post, where you can see pictures of what we looked like during chicken pox :O 😀
-Just a few months after getting chicken pox, we had to try out the whooping cough, too!
-And do you know that this week will be our FIFTIETH Seven Sisters Treasures?! Here’s a link to the first one 😀
Also in honor of our blogoversary, we’ve written a short story with links sprinkled heavily throughout of a sampling of different posts we’ve written in the past few years 😀
In Which We Tell a Story
(strange name for a story, but never mind!)
“One day we were Driving Down a Country Road…and we saw this Funny Old Man picking One Hundred and Seventy-Five Pounds of Strawberries!!! We stopped and asked him how he should recommend transporting animals to The County Fair when you have no trailer. The idea he gave us was not a good one, and we decided that this cannot end well. So we abandonded that idea, came up with a crazier idea…and completed our goal, though we had no time for anything else . The only problem being, we ended up being chased by a dog and trampled by some goats (okay, not quite so bad!).
After having recovered physically and mentally from the shock caused by said dog and goats, we took A Garden Tour, enjoying this lovely Honeysuckle Summer, but very much looking forward to autumn..oh yes, autumn!
The price of gasoline, being what it is these days, motivated us into Going Green. After all, we had no electricity and no water anyways, so why not?! While we were at it, we decided we may as well go Gluten Free, too. But Fret Not, it isn’t as bad as it sounds!
We took a trip to the Creation Museum, and loved it! At about the same time, we visited the State Fair for the first time, which was also lots of fun 😀 We had just about decided that life was like a Peach Smoothie Adventure!
We gained a new brother and sister last December and we were all relieved that they are not like our other brothers and sisters, who put Yarn in the Clothes Dryer and put toilet paper in the bathroom sink! Okay, that’s silly…we thought no such thing when we met our new brother and sister, but you have to find some crazy way to get all these posts in here!!!
Everyone knows how fun it is to get all dressed up and Deck the Halls and also the Christmas Tree–not to mention going sledding with friends and going on a Treasure Hunt looking for Farmgirl Treasures! Let it Snow, let it snow, let it snow!!! And throw in an ice storm for good measure!
This badly written story, will, we guarantee you, NOT win any prizes at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, or anywhere else…but no matter–we’ll say that Fred wrote it and everyone will be impressed. Funny thing!
Yes, we know, the Crown Plaza Hotel does not hand out prizes for writing, so please do not send any of your writings to them in hope of getting one. We’re afraid they won’t even edit it for you.
We’d love to hear from those of you who have been witnessing these past two years of our blog…or perhaps you’ve only recently found us, but no matter–how did you find us and when? And what is one of your favorite posts (if you can remember and so wish to tell us!)

Hmmm…not sure! Try going to your first post! We almost weren’t sure about ours, but we had it written down in one of our diaries (those trusty things!) 😀 Wait…Cassia wants to look it up…okay, well the earliest we could come up with was September 13th, but if you look in your dashboard under “posts” and see when you did your first post 🙂 I just re-read your “Monday’s” post from a couple of years ago…that was so good!
Hugs (and congratulations on two years of blogging, too!)
Jessica

Let’s see, I’ve been reading your blog for approximately 10-11 months now. I found your blog when I first got in touch with your mom and became an extremely consistent follower, after becoming your “adopted” sister! How’s that? 😉
I don’t think I could pick out a favorite post. There are so many posts I love, so many “Wordless Wednesday” pictures I love, how about, I just love your blog and how you make everything so much fun to read about!!! 🙂
Love and Hugs,
Kelley
I found you last year by the blog button on feelin feminine! My favourite post was the one which had the first ever “Behind the scenes” It was brilliant. I am so glad I found you all!

What a great story! (and posts!) I found you through Miss Toria at PLLM. I won the dolly giveaway. Then after we moved, I forgot about your blog 🙁 Then I found you again through Miss Toria, and have enjoyed reading your posts ever since!
Congratulations, girls! Ive enjoyed your blog to no end since I found it a few months ago, by way of your Etsy shop. 😀 You girls just radiate joy and femininity and I have been immensely blessed by yall! May God bless you as much as you have blessed me and so many other girls!
Thanks Madison! We always love reading your comments and your wonderful sense of humor 😀
Most excellent! Thank you for blogging for to share with all of us for these past two years!
I usually don’t comment but if there was ever a time to do it and say (no…write) thank you, it’s come now. 🙂 Congratulations to your anniversary. I enjoy every article of yours but my favourite one is the one with the recipe for apple dumplings. They are delicious. 🙂
I found you together with my cousin about one year ago. He had to do a little project in school about homeschooling, one part was about homeschooling in other countries and I helped him to traduce some articles. (No need to be afraid, you weren’t mentioned by name.) 🙂 We clicked through dozens of blogs and websites and after we were finished I clicked back to your blog…and stayed.
I hope you will write on for many more years, it is so interesting to follow you. Thank you for this. 🙂
Sincerely,
Barbara
Thank you, Barbara! It is so fun to hear from our readers…especially the ones that we don’t hear from usually 😀 Oh yes! Those apple dumplings are almost a staple around here! Lol! Not quite, but we do enjoy eating them on Sunday nights quite often 😀
So sorry to hear you had chicken pox! This is what got us through it, http://homeschoolblogger.com/pianolove/2009/07/02/i-will-survive-the-chicken-pox-edition/
What a neat story! You girls certainly are creative! LOL
Heather
For some reason it wouldn’t let us see it (unless we were logged into Facebook-that we don’t have :D), but reading the description makes me think we saw that same video somewhere, when we had the chicken pox, too 😆 And WE SURVIVED, too! lol! 😀
Jessica
Congratulations, girls!!! What a special occasion!!!!
