Antique Shopping Makes Two People HAPPY!

Actually, it makes many people happy (at least at our house :-)! But Cassia and I were probably the two happiest people last Saturday!   

 

We went to a antique shop that is not too far from us on Saturday. We had wanted to go for a long time but every time we went they were closed for that day, or time.  So, Saturday we finally made it….and the whole reason we went was for a desk for Cassia’s and my room that we recently finished.  So, besides that, we also got a few other things, like….

…and this cute little wooden box:

 

BUT, best of all…..

 

…..we got the perfect desk!!!!! (And chair to match 🙂

 

 

 It has such a pretty edging….

 

And neat old-fashioned handles…..

 

And it sets nicely in that empty spot in our room! 

 

Now we have a place to put our pencils, paper, books, etc! I had it all stored in a box in our closet, but that is not very handy.   The two ladies that were working there seemed very happy that we were getting it out of there!   We were happy to do that!  They made us all kinds of deals….which sure does help! 🙂
