This hand needle-tatted bookmark is made from purple and white variegated yarn and is 13-1/2 inches long (with tassel; or 6-3/4 inches long without tassel) and 2-1/2 inches wide.
To enter this giveaway you can do all of these as many times as you want to. Although, I can’t see anybody blogging about it more than once Leave a comment for each separate thing you do to make it easier for me to pick the winner, which will be picked on random.org.

Ooo, here's one, I am obsessed with the sky! =) I spend endless hours staring at it!
Kitchen tip-Freeze banana's by the bag-full if you have a large family. (Ooo, me me!) My family uses sooo many banana's for smoothies…they are the best!

That bookmark is beautiful! My most useful kitchen tip is for rolling out sugar cookie dough. Sprinkle a little water on the counter and then put some plastic wrap on top of the water. Sprinkle the flour on top of the plastic wrap and when you're done you can just grab the plastic wrap and throw it away without having a flour mess to clean up.

Where did you learn to Tatt? My mother did that! (Mind you, she was 47 when she had me, so it was 'like' she was 2 generations from mine!). π I don't know any contemporaries, much less younger ladies that are even interested in the lovely, lovely art form. You did a beautiful job with it and also in photographing it. π

Hmmmm… a random or funny fact… that's tough! Maybe a random one:) Although my Seven Sisters blog comment name is still "The Absent Minded Goat Tender", I only have one goat left, and soon won't even have her! Sadly, Neither I nor my parents can afford them any more π Ah, well! I know that if God is having me get rid of something I've put so much into, He must have something more important ahead:)

My random fact about myself is… I can't stand using methods of healing commonly prescribed by the medical community… I have to find some homeopathic way to fix my problems, like old-fashioned remedies or Amish remedies. : ) Not the ones that are unsafe, mind you, just the ones that don't involve any type of drug or medical intervention. : )

My favorite household tip- the fruit fly solution!! π Cut a plastic cup down and fill with apple cider vinager and a few drops of dish soap…works wonderful! Flies go right in it. =P

I like notebooks for some odd reason and I collect them and hardly ever use them : ) There are more odd things about me but theres one!
Well I know its not really a house hold tip but I like to get all my stuff ready before cleaning my guinea pigs cage such as their cage liner and bedding and such.
Again I am sorry it isnt really a house hold tip but its all i could think of. Oh wait heres one more:
I have to rinse every dish really well before I wash it.

Hmm… my lifesaver (and my mom's as well) is definately the crock-pot!!! We love doing overnight meals, that way we don't have to cook supper the next day, we simply move the meal from the crock-pot onto our plates!!!

I keep trying to think of a kitchen/housekeeping "lifesaver/tip" and although I know I told my Mom one last week, I can't remember what it is. My mind seems to be completely blank on that issue, although I know it's not. π Oh well. π

Wait, I just thought of something I can't live without. I have a Sticky-Notepad, and "Shopping List" size, pad, and a third sized, lined pad on top of my Refrigerator, as well as a cup full of pens and pencils. I also have a fourth pad with magnets on it, on the front of my refrigerator. Whenever I think of something I need to buy, do, or something I "mustn't forget," I write it down and put it in a prominent place. This makes things very easy for me when I'm going shopping, going somewhere, or when I have a few moments and I can say "what needs to be done." It makes a big difference, and it helps me a lot. I am better at a my job as wife and housekeeper, because I keep lists.

Here is another funny thing about me: When I was younger (8-10ish), I ALWAYS wore socks! I never went barefoot, but I did wear socks without shoes. And I even wore my socks with my sandals ALL the time. But now? Now I like to wear Flip Flops most of the summer (although not so much that it's bad for my feet). Yep, totally the opposite. π My poor mother, having to wash all those dirty socks, but now I hardly ever wear socks in the summer.

A random AND funny thing about me is that, everything has to be even, if I chew on one side I hvae to chew on the other… wierd I know…
My favorite household tip is, instead of mopping the floor every day, I spot clean, so I just go around with a damp rag and rub at the spots instead of lugging around the mop and pail…
This isnΒt really a Βlife saverΒ thing but my tip is to listen to music, books on tape, or a radio show while working in the kitchen (or any household chore) to keep from being bored. Just remember to pay attention to the recipe! π
