And now for the promised post about our freeze dried, space food, astronaut ice cream sandwich!

The package

It was wrapped just like an ice cream sandwich…

It looked, and smelled just like an ice cream sandwich…

(it crumbled–unlike ice cream sandwiches!)

It tasted…interesting!  It was also quite crunchy!  We let the ice cream part of it sit in our mouth for a little bit, and then it got creamy, but it was also very warm, and ice cream sandwiches are not warm! (of course!)

And to wash it all down, we had a cup of milk  : )

(no, it wasn’t that bad, but it was sort of like after you have a cookie, you need some milk .)

So, was it worth it?  Taste—-no.  Experience—yes  : )

For the record… you Don't need milk- especially goats' milk- with your cookie(or ice cream sandwich)!

~Hannah—yes, I know that's you…"Anonymous" : D Milk, especially goat's milk, is absolutely essential for washing down space food!

That is really neat. It would be so cool to try a freezer-vacuum sealed (that's what it's called, right? Or was it freezeer-dried…?) ice-cream sandwich!

    Thanks for commenting back!
