Last weekend (April 23ed thru April 26th) we went camping with our church which they do every year. There were about 12 families that came.  We had so much fun walking the trails, visiting the falls and playing in the water!   Here are a few pictures that we took there.  It was about four hours away!!

~This is what we were looking at the whole way down  Daddy, Mommy and the boys rode in the truck while all of us girls took the mini van.

 ~We passed a Fed-Ex airport

~We were SO happy to see this sign!! Meaning we were almost there!!!  Four hours of riding with only one stop can get tiring!

~This was our first walk which was 2 miles long. It went through a cave called "Wolf Cave". I went around because it looked kind of small. Besides, I really didn’t want to meet any snakes…yet. Even though I did later

~This was our second walk down the creek a bit.

~These are the falls that we went to.  You can go here and see a few pictures of people climbing up the  falls!!

~And of course, everybody had to see how cold the water was

~Anna, Bekah and Charissa. I have no idea what they are looking at! : )

~We took this picture at the top of the stairs which led down to the falls.

~On Saturday night everybody gathered at one campsite for a pot luck, singing and prayer. We also had a scavenger hunt.

~If you read my latest Simple Maiden’s Daybook post, then I’m sure you already met him : )  This raccoon visited a few people during the night and we had to chase them away. For some reason he liked being under our picnic table.

~One of the trails. There were SO many steps on some of the trails!  About 130 steps each set.  We could say that we walked up and down 1,000 steps last weekend and not be exaggerating!!

On the way back we stopped at Steak ‘n Shake.  We almost sang "Fugue for Fast Food" there. It would have been so perfect! But, a few of us didn’t really want too  Click here to hear it. (Be sure to turn off our playlist!)  We have a lot fun singing it!

    Hi Susannah!

Thank you for commenting on my blog!

They are Boer goats. We aren't much on goats milk stuff. Although, I ¢¾ goats milk ice cream! Do y'all make that? My mama just made some kefir, it isn't quite ready yet. She is going to make it strawberry flavor! Mama also plans to make cheese, buttermilk, she is actually in the process of buttermilk, and anything else dairy! Since groceries are ging up, we figured we could make some things to help our bill go down.

    Well, this is long enough!lol.
