Last Thursday, we picked up Goatgirl46 on the way to the 4-H llama meeting. When it was time to come home, we decided to see if Goatgirl could come home with us for the rest of the evening. First, Goatgirl was showing us something on the violin, then one by one, everybody else got their instruments out : ) The result was that we had a lot of fun and made a lot of noise until 11:20 that night : D Sometimes everybody was just playing whatever popped into their head, and other times we got together and actually played the same song. Here is a video of us playing "America the Beautiful".
Other songs we played together, but did not record, were:
Twinkle Twinkle Little Star (I know, it sounds easy, that’s why we played it–because we all knew it : )
Swallowtail Jig
Bile ’em Cabbage Down–this one has funny words : ) One of our favorite verses are:
"Love it is a killing fit when beauty hits a blossom
If you want your finger bit just poke it at a possum!"
Leah played a fun version of that verse, playing it soft and sweet on the first line, and then playing the second line a lot faster : )
Hope you enjoy!

Oh, very nice! You all play so well. My brother has a violin, but none of us know how to play it. One of my silly dreams is to play in an orchestra, even though I don't know how to play an instrument! π
Have a very bright, very cheerful day!
Miss Eyebright
I suppose Bile 'em Cabbage Down is the same tune we sing, Boil them Cabbage Down? π heehee..that is such a funny little song! π
Cassia ~ I will try to reply to your email soon! Very busy with school and have to be done with it in a little more than a week.. π but I will try to reply! π
Well, it looked nice… but I'm afraid I can't listen to it on the library computers! π {Silent Giggle} (Well of course it's silent! I'm in the library!)
Looks like fun!
