 Today…April 13th 2009

Outside my window…it is cold, windy and rainy!

I am thinking…that I am about to go groom our Shih Tzu who really needs it!

I am thankful for…A free country in which we can worship God!

I am wearing…My green/daisy/dragonfly dress that I made for my 16th birthday. And socks!  Remember? It’s cold!

From the kitchen…Lunch dishes are getting done.  I am going to make Calico Bean Bake and cornbread for supper.

I am reading…"A Basic Guide To Training and Driving Your Llama" for my 4-H poster and report; My Bible, Psalms, Proverbs, Isaiah, Job, and Revelation; and…school books

I am creating…A tatted bookmark and my 4-H dress. I didn’t get much accomplished since last week.

One of my favorite things…"Be Thou My Vision"

For education this week…The normal….except, I am doing new science and history books!!!!!!!!! : )  We didn’t really get spring break, and I think school is going until the middle of June….I think 🙂

A keeper at home skill I am using…Cooking, cleaning, tatting, sewing.

A spiritual lesson I’m learning…Prayer

A godly character trait I plan to work on…Patience

Scripture I am memorizing…Reviewing…I completely dislike losing what I spent a lot of time on!!!

For the rest of the week…Tonight is 4-H dog club, tomorrow is dentist (I’m getting my spacer out!!!! yipppeeeeeeee!!!! I had it for almost a year!) Thursday is 4-H llama meeting, and Saturday I think we are splitting more wood.

A picture I’d like to share…

This is Cassia’s and my room that Daddy is remodeling!  That is the closet. It will have a big door with built-in bookcases on the ends!!! Doesn’t that orange floor look…just…uh….lovely?  Not really!

And this is one of our pictures we took after church yesterday. (We did a few silly ones, this being one of them) We were looking at our just-so-lovely camper!! Doesn’t it look SO exciting??

Rose in Bloom does focus on Rose's relationships with her cousins, and she does eventually marry one of them. I can understand if it isn't really to your taste. Rose in Bloom isn't really my favorite Louisa May Alcott book anyway, I much prefer Jack and Jill. Have you read that one?

I used to love to get new school books, or to have new school books to use. We would all get excited when our curriculuum would come in the mail.

Have a very bright, very cheerful day!

I am very fond of the book Jack and Jill. In my opinion, it is well worth getting from an inter-library loan, I only hope that you will think the same!
