Today…April 6th 2009

Outside my window…Cloudy, windy, 37 degrees, we got snow this morning…of all things!!!  But, here in Indiana, we always have to get that last snow in April ; )

I am thinking…I want to get rid of this cold and stuffy head feeling and soon!!!

I am thankful for…Books!!!  I love books!

I am wearing…My new blouse, and green jumper.

I am reading…Ezra, Revelation, Psalms, Proverbs; Training and Driving your llama.

I am creating…much-needed clothes, tatted lace (for my clothes), and started my 4-H dress.

From the kitchen…Everybody is getting their before-bed-snack of strawberry yogurt and putting in their vote of what we should have for breakfast tomorrow : )

One of my favorite things…Listening to music!  Mostly classical and hymn arrangements.

For education this week…I finished my history and science!!!!!!! And, the normal:  spelling, Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace High School curriculum, Spanish, writing, grammar, copywork, etc. etc. etc.  Even though I like school, I am almost ready for this school year to be finished!

A keeper at home skill I am using…tatting, sewing.

A spiritual lesson I’m learning…Prayer

A godly character trait I plan to work on…Patience

Scripture I am memorizing…(continuing) James 1

I am praying for…Our President

For the rest of the week…we have music lessons, I need to get my Easter jumper done, work on my 4-H dress,

Some pictures I’d like to share…  (I couldn’t decide on just one!! : )

My tatting project…I tatted about 2-1/2 yards of it for one outfit. That also is my 4-H dress collar.

Our smart cat "Emily".  I took this picture while squirting the goat’s milk into the cat’s mouth

And….

Last week while I was practicing cello, the boys were playing with the music stand raising it way up, down and around.  Thankfully, I was only reviewing, so I pretty much had the music memorized : )  They thought it was pretty funny! 🙂

    Hi Susanna!

Yes, that's funny about the music stand…we did the same thing just last week!

My sister was raising it up and down, and it was sorta sqeaking, and it sounded like someone tuning a violin! I actually matched the sound on the pian, so we had a little "concert."

Anyways, lovely blog! It's really neat. I love old barns, too! They're so pretty in a big field, with their paint falling off, and looking so picturesque. May I add you girls as friend? Thanks SO much if you add me!

    Love in Christ,

    Ariel
