We all like books.  (Who doesn’t?)  Well, actually we LOVE books!   Especially old books.  And if there is a book for sale that is old and neat, (who cares what the inside looks like!!  JK!)  then we buy it!  The day before yesterday (23th), Yesterday (24th), and today there is a book sale in a town about 20 min. from us.  $3 for a paper sack of books!!!!!   WHO would not go to that!!  So, of course we went!!  the first day we were there only an hour (NOT enough time for all those books!) and yesterday for about 2 hours.  Still not enough time for all those books!!   This book store is moving to another state so they are trying to get rid of a lot of books.   I don’t blame them!  Packing all those books!!  There was 3 small rooms a 1 huge room FULL of BOOKS!!  It was wonderful!!    I bought almost 2 sacks full.   But….where do I put them??

Remember from one of our earlier posts Cassie and I moved into a SMALL~or should I say small room??  This is a 10′ X 12′ room!!   Now,  in this small room there is a bunk bed. And a LOOONG dresser. And small bookshelf. And a closet (a built in one). And beside one wall there are stacked boxes and more boxes. Our old closet was a BIG closet!  Longer than this room!  So, that is where all the boxes came from. (Now who let us get all that stuff!!) So….what were we talking about??  Oh yes….the books.  40 books.  Where am I going to put these 40 books?!  So I came up with a solution. At least I think it is a solution.  In between the stacks of boxes and our bed is a 1 foot space against the wall.   So I stacked them there….4 high!!  It looks kinda neat (because they are old) and kinda strange (because they are packed in there).  A picture??  Here you go:

You can see the boxes on the left, the bunk bed on the right and almost all the books in the middle.  (Not all are here…I’m reading one, and I gave a few to my younger sisters.)

And my sisters??   I think they got just as many books too!

And yes, I DO still LOVE books!!

I thought I would put a picture on here of my adorable little brother Isaiah.

I absolutely love old books, and the sad thing is I can not buy too many for our house is small and we have no more room for bookshelves! But I am going sometime this week maybe to an old bookstore to see if they have a hidden old dusty copy of Ben Hur!

Your little brother is so cute! I hope to meet him and the rest of your family IRL!

    Have a Great Day!

    Love

Hey Suzanna Mae and Company! : )

How are you all doing? I'm so happy for your acquisition of so many "new" books. : ) I love book sales, for all their great prices on books; however, I can't stand their disorganization. Especially when I can't get through them all, or am looking for something in particular. : )

Hope the rest of the week goes well for you all. Oh, a new post would be nice, too. : )

    God bless! ~DB : )

    Hi Suzanna,

I was looking through your old posts and decided I needed to leave a comment. 🙂

Are the 40 books the only books that are yours? Or do you have mroe besides that? I have something like 72 books… I have two and a half book shelves full! If I fill up the other half, I don't know what I'll do because my sister using the other two shelves… I might have to get another shelf…

What is your favorite thing to read?

    Amy
