Today was Day 2 of 3 for General Project judging. Charissa and Noah got their food projects judged…and they both got blue ribbons! Bekah and Anna will have theirs judged tomorrow.
Leah is on the General Project committee…so she helps set up for the judging, and later she’ll help set all the projects up all pretty for the fair 🙂 She’s been there all day long…and she’s still not home. I think she’s going to be tired!
Anna, working on her poster for chickens. We can’t show the actual chickens because they’re trying to prevent the spread of the avian flu. So they have projects to choose from to complete the project.
Bekah, working on recipe cards for her foods project.
Noah, working on his photography poster which is due tomorrow 🙂
Nothing like being last minute. But that is the 4H way 😀 Our grandma used to get after us for waiting so long and putting ourselves through so much stress, but we just told her, “Don’t worry Grandma, everybody does this! It’s part of 4H!” Lol!
Tonight was a llama practice, where they practiced walking their llamas and tried on the costumes that their llamas will be wearing for one of the classes. Charissa’s llama is going to be a person who is hurt (complete with ‘bloody’ bandages), and she’s going to the the EMT. Rebekah’s llama is going to be Darth Vader…with a face mask, even!
Bekah’s working on her cake decorating tonight. I think I might be up kinda late helping her. But maybe not…hopefully it’ll go quickly and well 😉
I’ll be back tomorrow with more pictures!

Hope everyone does awesome!!! I am so happy for everyone so far! I have been to busy to do anything this year for open class, I did make some embroidery picture thing but I sealed it which they do not like on accident. Oh, well. 😀
Oh dear! Well…you should enter it anyway…that’s what I do 😀 -Jessica
Well, I would but I wrote on the back of it to remember when I made it. 😀
What fun! I’m not sure where y’all live, but it reminds me so much of the 4-H fair/competition we got to see in Indiana. When we moved to Texas years ago, we immediately looked to join 4-H, only to find out it was nothing like the one up there. On a side note, I haven’t visited y’all’s blog in a while. I really like your new cover/ header. It’s so pretty!
Thanks so much for all of your fun comments, Lauren! 🙂 We’ve so enjoyed reading them all!
Aww…thank you!! I’m so glad!! (:
