Boden…the adorable little baby that we get to babysit every week-day.  Isn’t he just so sweet?

Quote of the Week

That’s the problem with calling.  Too often we think of it as something we are meant to do But really it’s something we are meant to be.

God may have seemingly random assignments for us to do all through our lives.  But they’re only going to make sense from the person He has called you to be.

This is Our Time

The Bookshelf

Just David…a book by Eleanor Porter, author of Pollyanna.  Mommy read this one to us and we’ve reread it many times since!

The Recipe Box

Bacon Egg & Cheese ‘Muffins’

a yummy and easy breakfast recipe!

12 slices of bacon

8-9 eggs, beaten

1/2 tsp. salt

grated colby jack (or your favorite) cheese

chopped green onion, optional

Grease muffin pan well and then place a piece of bacon in each cup, creating a little ‘muffin liner’ out of it by covering the sides and bottom of the cup.  Beat together the eggs and salt and fill each muffin cup almost full.  Sprinkle the tops with cheese and green onion and bake for 350°F for 20-30 minutes.  These are SO yummy and so moist and so easy!   Serve with some toast or muffins and a glass of juice 😉

Farmgirl Favorites

We thought it would be fun to keep doing some more ‘heights’ pictures…in case you like to be spooked like that 😀

First, from the top of the Eiffel Tower.  Reminded us of a picture we posted on a previous Treasures post 🙂

And it looks like this is covered over in glass…so you can feel like you’re on the edge.  Oh my!  What do you think?  Would you step out onto the glass?!

Cute Quotes

Noah: Welding is brighter than the sun.

Bekah: Oh.

Noah: Not really!!

Isaiah: Yes huh, Noah.

Noah: So you have to go up to the sun and weld to see which one is brighter.

Bekah: Oh brother!

Noah: If you went to the sun you would die.

Isaiah: Not if you have a parachute!

Leah was pushing Isaiah on the swing out under the tree when Noah came along and wanted on, too.  So they decided to do ‘double’.  Leah told them she didn’t know if she could push them both, and Isaiah said, “Of course you can!  You’re strong and innocent’.  We don’t know how he put those two together, but it was funny!

Isaiah saw the Twitter bird on a Doritos chip bag beside the ‘follow us on twitter…’

He said, “Birds like them?!”  Then he wondered if they really did, and wanted to throw one outside to see if they would eat it.

Noah told Jessica one evening, “Bekah smashed a lightning bug and spread it’s light everywhere!”

…and here’s some more adorableness 😉
