There’s this family we know…the Clarks. They have such exuberance in life, and such joy in Jesus and His love!
Several years ago, Miss Dawn kept hearing Mommy’s name…they used the same girls to babysit their kids, they had the same midwife, they used the same bulk-foods co-op, etc. Different people would would talk about ‘Trisch’ and Mrs. Clark said, “I HAVE to meet this Trisch!!! I keep hearing about her!”
About three years ago, they reconnected again, through T-Tapp 😀
Mommy found out that they lived in a town that we drive through to get to our music lessons, so she asked if we could drop off one of the T-Tapp dvds for Miss Dawn to borrow. I met their oldest daughter, Danica, and liked her immediately. When I drove home, I thought, ‘She seems like a really nice girl! I wish there was some way for me to get to know her better.’
Mommy and Miss Dawn met for the first time in person shortly after (or was it before?) that, and hit it off well 😀
Over time, Danica and I DID in fact become very good friends, and Danica has been more than an encouragement to me in my walk discovering how MUCH Jesus loves me 🙂
Miss Dawn, herself, encouraged me SO much! She was Mommy’s business coach, and she’d give us girls ideas and pointers for our Etsy shop. She was so fun, so full of joy, so encouraging. Last Fall, she and Mr. Clark were sending out devotional emails every weekday, and several of them helped me immensely during a discouraging and difficult time. I would write her and tell her so 🙂 And she’d always write me back, and often sign off, ‘Love you, Chica!’ 🙂 She was an amazing prayer warrior, too.
Just a few days ago, she suddenly had a massive hemorrhagic stroke. The doctors said she was ‘brain dead’, but her family kept speaking Life over her, praying for her healing.
Yesterday afternoon, she decided to go be with Jesus…
from Danica’s Facebook:
We spoke and stood on life and life abundant.
When Jesus died on the cross, He died not to make us choose, but to GIVE us a choice.
God gives us a CHOICE. A choice to live life on earth, or a choice to live in heaven.
This afternoon He gave mom that choice.
She CHOSE Him.
We spoke life, and she has it. Abundantly. In Him.
We release her spirit into His love, where she CHOSE to go.
Thank you for your prayers and love, we love you all, our sweet extended family.
Father’s sweet sweet peace is upon our spirits.
But our hearts ache for ourselves, not for her.
She is awake and has LIFE in Jesus.
There is such a mix of emotions here at our house…we’re so happy for her, but we didn’t want to say good bye just yet. We love you Miss Dawn…and miss you terribly!
If you’d like to help financially, another friend of Miss Dawn’s has set up a fundraising page to help with the medical bills here.
Please pray for Mr. Clark and the whole Clark family, that they would be able to feel the comfort, love and peace of Jesus that surrounds them ♥
